The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport announced that the movement of transport vehicles weighing over 20 tonnes will be temporarily restricted on Saturday, August 22.

According to the announcement, the restriction on the motorway will apply from 11:00 to 17:30 because forecast temperatures are expected to reach the threshold of 32°C or higher.

Meanwhile, traffic on national, regional and connecting roads will continue without restrictions.

The measure does not apply to vehicles belonging to law enforcement and public security agencies, emergency services and healthcare institutions.

The ministry urged operators and drivers to comply with the restriction and plan their journeys in accordance with the specified schedule.
