Berisha announced that last night the establishment of the institutions of the Democratic Party of Albania was completed.

He expressed gratitude to former colleagues Oerd Bylykbashi, Luçiano Boçi and Ivi Kaso, as well as to the DP secretaries, for their precious contribution.

Berisha guaranteed that he is determined to continue all-round cooperation with them. He also thanked Edi Paloka and all those who contributed during the past four years.

According to the DP leader, the election of new leaders by the free vote of the National Council demonstrates democratic functioning within the party.

He emphasized that Albanians have seen and continue to see a political force that has placed the free vote at the basis of its building and functioning.

A special congratulation Berisha addressed to Belind Këlliçi, Nikolla Kedhi and Erisa Bajaziti, who were elected for the first time as deputy chairpersons of the DP. He described them as personalities who represent large groups and strata of Albanian society, which previously had no representation in the leadership.

Berisha also congratulated the secretary general, Flamur Noka, on his re-election to the post he holds, with the votes of the DP National Council.

In the new structure, Klevis Balliu was elected organizational secretary, while Andi Mustadaj took the post of secretary for human resources management. Marash Logu was elected secretary for legal and electoral issues, Viola Kapedani secretary for public relations, Eva Metaj secretary for partner organizations and civil society, while Fjoralba Dizdari secretary for European integration.

The task of secretary for emigration and diaspora was entrusted to Ethem Aga, while Etjon Kapedani was elected secretary for the digitization of the DP. Gentian Kaprata took the post of secretary for infrastructure and territory.

Endira Bushati was elected secretary for property issues and the fight against corruption, Franc Nuri secretary for human rights, Shkëlqim Lepenica secretary for political prisoners, and Ylli Asllani secretary for local government. Erges Eskiu was elected secretary for citizen action.

To the commission, or party court, were elected Adriana Kalaja, Besart Logu, Shaqir Manjani, Suina Asllanaj and Gentian Koçi.

The Democratic leader specifically thanked all candidates who competed for these important posts. Regardless of the voting result, he assured them of his highest consideration and appreciation, expressing hope that cooperation with them will continue, as prominent personalities of the DP.

Berisha also appreciated Gazment Bardhi and the voting commission for the serious work done. At the same time, he publicly apologized to Lorenc Luka, who had sent a message to inform that he did not wish to run, but the message was read late.

In conclusion, Berisha declared that the leadership of the Democratic Party has undergone a great rejuvenation, with the inclusion of personalities who, according to him, are among the most prominent in their respective fields.

Berisha bëri të ditur se mbrëmjen e kaluar përfundoi ngritja e institucioneve të Partisë Demokratike të Shqipërisë.

Ai shprehu mirënjohjen për ish-bashkëpunëtorët Oerd Bylykbashi, Luçiano Boçi dhe Ivi Kaso, si edhe për sekretarët e PD-së, për kontributin e tyre të çmuar.

Berisha garantoi se është i vendosur të vijojë bashkëpunimin e gjithanshëm me ta. Ai falënderoi gjithashtu Edi Palokën dhe të gjithë ata që dhanë kontributin e tyre gjatë katër viteve të shkuara.

Sipas kreut të PD-së, zgjedhja e drejtuesve të rinj me votën e lirë të Këshillit Kombëtar dëshmon funksionimin demokratik brenda partisë.

Ai theksoi se shqiptarët kanë parë dhe vijojnë të shohin një forcë politike që e ka vendosur votën e lirë në bazën e ndërtimit dhe të funksionimit të saj.

Një urim të veçantë Berisha ua drejtoi Belind Këlliçit, Nikolla Kedhit dhe Erisa Bajazitit, të cilët u zgjodhën për herë të parë nënkryetarë të PD-së. Ai i cilësoi ata si personalitete që përfaqësojnë grupe dhe shtresa të mëdha të shoqërisë shqiptare, të cilat më parë nuk kishin përfaqësim në kryesi.

Berisha përgëzoi edhe sekretarin e përgjithshëm, Flamur Noka, për rizgjedhjen në postin që mban, me votat e Këshillit Kombëtar të PD-së.

Në strukturën e re, Klevis Balliu u zgjodh sekretar organizativ, ndërsa Andi Mustadaj mori detyrën e sekretarit për menaxhimin e burimeve njerëzore. Marash Logu u zgjodh sekretar për çështjet ligjore dhe zgjedhore, Viola Kapedani sekretare për marrëdhëniet me publikun, Eva Metaj sekretare për organizatat partnere dhe shoqërinë civile, ndërsa Fjoralba Dizdari sekretare për integrimin evropian.

Detyra e sekretarit për emigracionin dhe diasporën iu besua Ethem Agës, ndërsa Etjon Kapedani u zgjodh sekretar për dixhitalizimin e PD-së. Gentian Kaprata mori postin e sekretarit për infrastrukturën dhe territorin.

Endira Bushati u zgjodh sekretare për çështjet e pronave dhe luftën kundër korrupsionit, Franc Nuri sekretar për të drejtat e njeriut, Shkëlqim Lepenica sekretar për të përndjekurit politikë dhe Ylli Asllani sekretar për pushtetin lokal. Erges Eskiu u zgjodh sekretar për aksionin qytetar.

Në përbërje të komisionit, ose gjykatës së partisë, u zgjodhën Adriana Kalaja, Besart Logu, Shaqir Manjani, Suina Asllanaj dhe Gentian Koçi.

Kreu demokrat falënderoi në mënyrë të veçantë të gjithë kandidatët që garuan për këto poste të rëndësishme. Pavarësisht rezultatit të votimit, ai i siguroi për konsideratën dhe vlerësimin e tij më të lartë, duke shprehur shpresën se bashkëpunimi me ta do të vazhdojë, si personalitete të shquara të PD-së.

Berisha vlerësoi gjithashtu Gazment Bardhin dhe komisionin e votimit për punën serioze të kryer. Në të njëjtën kohë, ai i kërkoi publikisht ndjesë Lorenc Lukës, i cili kishte dërguar një mesazh për të njoftuar se nuk dëshironte të kandidonte, por mesazhi ishte lexuar me vonesë.

Në përfundim, Berisha deklaroi se drejtimi i Partisë Demokratike ka pësuar një ripërtëritje të madhe, me përfshirjen e personaliteteve që, sipas tij, janë ndër më të spikaturat në fushat përkatëse.

Sipas Berishës, rezoluta që Kuçanaj kërkoi të lexonte nuk u vendos në rendin e ditës, sepse nuk ishte dorëzuar në përputhje me procedurat e përcaktuara nga statuti i partisë.

He accused the Rama government of authoritarianism and said Albanians must be ready for a “decisive battle” to change the political situation in the country.

“Edi Rama is now, before the whole world, a tyrant. But tyrants never leave on their own. Therefore, every Albanian man and woman must be prepared for the decisive battle against this regime, to save Albania,” the DP leader said.

According to Berisha, confronting the current government is also tied to a responsibility toward the country’s future and the younger generations.

Sipas Berishës, përballja me qeverinë aktuale lidhet edhe me një përgjegjësi ndaj së ardhmes së vendit dhe brezave të rinj.
