Activist and publicist Saim Tahiraj has assessed that the chances of the six LDK lawmakers who oppose the current agreement between Kurti and Abdixhiku voting in favor of it are very slim.

He said the situation was the result of the political responsibility of LDK Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku and had not arisen by chance.

According to Tahiraj, the six lawmakers are not expected to back down from their position and support the agreement.

“I believe that the chances of the six LDK lawmakers who oppose the current agreement between Kurti and Abdixhiku changing their position and voting in favor of it are minimal,” Tahiraj said.

The activist and publicist linked the crisis to the way the LDK leadership had acted, stressing that prior consultations and a thorough debate with all of the party’s lawmakers had been lacking.

“This situation is the result of Chairman Abdixhiku’s stubborn actions. The lack of consultations and a genuine discussion with all LDK lawmakers has put the party in an unnecessary and critical situation,” he said.

Tahiraj stressed that the failure to discuss the matter, the lack of consultation and the failure to reach a consensus with LDK lawmakers and structures constituted political responsibility that could not be avoided.

“The LDK chairman should serve as a unifying figure and a bridge, not become a factor of division or a source of conflict within the party,” Tahiraj said.

He also rejected the public accusations directed at the six lawmakers on television programs and in statements to reporters.

“Public attacks against these six lawmakers are not in keeping with the spirit and political culture of the LDK. They are even more inappropriate when they come from the party chairman, who should demonstrate maturity, political wisdom and the ability to unite people around important decisions,” he said.

According to him, the lawmakers were elected by the citizens and had a mandate, responsibility and the right to vote in accordance with their political convictions and conscience.

“A lawmaker’s mandate is not the property of the party chairman. A lawmaker has the right to decide according to their own convictions and conscience and cannot be forced to submit to party diktat or censorship,” Tahiraj stressed.

For this reason, he described the attempt to portray the six lawmakers as “blockers” of the process of establishing the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo as politically unacceptable.

“These six lawmakers are exercising their mandate and voting in accordance with their convictions. Therefore, labeling them as ‘blockers’ of the process of building the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo is politically unacceptable,” he said.

Tahiraj recalled that the Kosovo Assembly consists of 120 lawmakers, 100 of whom are Albanian. In his view, responsibility for the functioning of the institutions belongs to everyone.

“The Kosovo Assembly has 120 lawmakers, 100 of whom are Albanian, so the functioning of the institutions is a shared responsibility. However, the main political responsibility lies with the entity that came first in the elections, since it is responsible for forming a majority and building the institutions,” Tahiraj said.

He concluded his statement by saying that this responsibility was now clear to everyone.

“There is no longer any need to explain this only to analysts and politicians; even children are beginning to understand it,” he concluded.

Ai ka thënë se kjo situatë është rezultat i përgjegjësisë politike të kryetarit të LDK-së, Lumir Abdixhiku, dhe nuk është krijuar rastësisht.

Sipas Tahirajt, gjashtë deputetët nuk pritet të tërhiqen nga qëndrimi i tyre dhe të mbështesin marrëveshjen.

“Besoj se gjasat që gjashtë deputetët e LDK-së, që janë kundër marrëveshjes aktuale mes Kurtit dhe Abdixhikut, ta ndryshojnë pozicionin dhe të votojnë pro saj, janë minimale”, ka deklaruar Tahiraj.

Veprimtari dhe publicisti e ka lidhur krizën me mënyrën se si është vepruar nga kreu i LDK-së, duke theksuar se munguan konsultimet paraprake dhe një debat i plotë me të gjithë deputetët e partisë.

“Kjo gjendje është pasojë e veprimeve kryeneçe të kryetarit Abdixhiku. Mungesa e konsultimeve dhe e një diskutimi të mirëfilltë me të gjithë deputetët e LDK-së e ka futur partinë në një situatë të panevojshme dhe kritike”, është shprehur ai.

Tahiraj ka theksuar se mosdiskutimi, mungesa e konsultimit dhe dështimi për të arritur konsensus me deputetët dhe strukturat e LDK-së përbëjnë përgjegjësi politike që nuk mund të shmangen.

“Kryetari i LDK-së duhet të shërbejë si figurë bashkuese dhe si urë lidhëse, jo të shndërrohet në faktor përçarjeje apo në burim konfliktesh brenda partisë”, ka thënë Tahiraj.

Ai ka kundërshtuar gjithashtu akuzat publike të drejtuara ndaj gjashtë deputetëve në emisione televizive dhe në deklarata para gazetarëve.

“Sulmet publike ndaj këtyre gjashtë deputetëve nuk përputhen me frymën dhe kulturën politike të LDK-së. Ato janë edhe më të papërshtatshme kur vijnë nga kryetari i partisë, i cili duhet të dëshmojë maturi, urtësi politike dhe aftësi për t’i bashkuar njerëzit rreth vendimeve të rëndësishme”, ka deklaruar ai.

Sipas tij, deputetët janë zgjedhur nga qytetarët dhe kanë mandat, përgjegjësi, si dhe të drejtën të votojnë në përputhje me bindjet politike dhe ndërgjegjen e tyre.

“Mandati i deputetit nuk përbën pronë të kryetarit të partisë. Deputeti ka të drejtë të vendosë sipas bindjeve dhe ndërgjegjes së vet dhe nuk mund të detyrohet t’i nënshtrohet diktatit apo censurës partiake”, ka theksuar Tahiraj.

Për këtë arsye, ai e ka quajtur politikisht të papranueshme përpjekjen për t’i paraqitur gjashtë deputetët si “bllokues” të procesit të krijimit të institucioneve të Republikës së Kosovës.

“Këta gjashtë deputetë po e ushtrojnë mandatin e tyre dhe po votojnë në përputhje me bindjet që kanë. Prandaj, etiketimi i tyre si ‘bllokues’ i procesit të ndërtimit të institucioneve të Republikës së Kosovës është i papranueshëm politikisht”, ka thënë ai.

Tahiraj ka rikujtuar se Kuvendi i Kosovës përbëhet nga 120 deputetë, ndërsa 100 prej tyre janë shqiptarë. Për të, përgjegjësia për funksionimin e institucioneve u takon të gjithëve.

“Kuvendi i Kosovës ka 120 deputetë, nga të cilët 100 janë shqiptarë, ndaj funksionimi i institucioneve është përgjegjësi e përbashkët. Security affairs expert Saim Tahiraj has commented on the indictment against Fatmir Sheholli, raising the possibility that the investigation could also lead to other individuals suspected of collaborating with Serbia.

In a statement to “Bota sot,” Tahiraj stressed that the continuation of the investigation and the publication of the facts could bring before the law individuals holding high academic titles, including doctors of science.

He raised the question of which other people may turn out to have been involved in the Sheholli case as collaborators with Serbia, while not ruling out the discovery of an influential academic figure.

According to Tahiraj, the large funds of the country’s adversaries may have lured people with high scientific degrees as well, but that does not necessarily mean they possessed strong human and national character.

He underscored that a diploma or academic title cannot be taken as a guarantee of an individual’s integrity and character. Knowledge, he said, is acquired through universities and lecture halls, while conscience, responsibility toward the nation and character are built throughout life, particularly within the family and through education.

Tahiraj called on the security and justice institutions to continue the investigative process without compromise, so that the innocent can be distinguished from those responsible and all the facts can be made public.

He stated that, if the existence of Serbian spies or collaborators is proven, the law must be applied equally to everyone, regardless of who they are or what titles they hold. Tahiraj concluded that the truth must be uncovered once and for all.

Njohësi i çështjeve të sigurisë, Saim Tahiraj, ka komentuar aktakuzën ndaj Fatmir Shehollit, duke ngritur mundësinë që hetimet të çojnë edhe te persona të tjerë të dyshuar për bashkëpunim me Serbinë.

Në deklaratën e dhënë për “Bota sot”, Tahiraj ka theksuar se vazhdimi i hetimeve dhe publikimi i fakteve mund të sjellë përballë drejtësisë edhe individë që mbajnë tituj të lartë akademikë, përfshirë doktorë shkencash.

Ai ka shtruar pyetjen se cilët persona të tjerë mund të rezultojnë të përfshirë në rastin Sheholli si bashkëpunëtorë të Serbisë, duke mos përjashtuar edhe zbulimin e ndonjë figure akademike me ndikim.

Sipas Tahirajt, fondet e mëdha të kundërshtarëve të vendit mund të kenë joshur edhe njerëz me grada të larta shkencore, por kjo nuk do të thotë se ata kanë pasur domosdoshmërisht karakter të fortë njerëzor e kombëtar.

Ai ka nënvizuar se një diplomë apo titull akademik nuk mund të merret si garanci për integritetin dhe karakterin e individit. Dituria, sipas tij, përfitohet përmes universiteteve dhe auditorëve, ndërsa ndërgjegjja, përgjegjësia ndaj kombit dhe karakteri ndërtohen gjatë gjithë jetës, veçanërisht në familje dhe përmes edukimit.

Tahiraj u ka bërë thirrje institucioneve të sigurisë dhe drejtësisë që ta vijojnë procesin hetimor pa kompromise, në mënyrë që të ndahen të pafajshmit nga personat përgjegjës dhe të bëhen publike të gjitha faktet.

Security expert Saim Tahiraj has expressed concern over the alleged activities of Serbian intelligence services in Kosovo. According to him, the border area remains one of the spaces where these structures have historically operated.

Tahiraj says that Serbian services have concentrated their activities in border areas and that, through all available means, they have carried out anti-Albanian activities in various directions. He identifies religion as one of the main fields of this engagement, claiming that infiltration into the Islamic religion has been and continues to be an important priority.

According to him, after losing the war and Serbia’s withdrawal from Kosovo, along with its military and police structures, Serbian intelligence agents remained in the country and increased their activity within the Islamic religion. Tahiraj says this engagement has been most evident along the border with Serbia, in the area stretching from Mitrovica, Vushtrri and Podujeva, continuing through Gjilan and as far as Kaçanik, which he describes as one of the most active centers of these agencies.

Referring to the recent protests in Vushtrri and opposition to the construction of a Catholic church, the security expert linked these developments to the alleged activity of Serbian intelligence agencies. He said that the removal of the plaque bearing the names of Saint Florian and Saint Laurus, at the site where the church was planned to be built, should not be viewed as a random event.

Tahiraj claims that the protesters were influenced by emissaries of Political Islam, behind whom, he says, Serbian intelligence agencies stand. He stated that their manipulation was made possible by many years of influence which, in his assessment, has developed into a psychological problem requiring professional treatment by health institutions.

He called on Kosovo’s institutions to take urgent action, using the existing professional structures and swiftly creating additional mechanisms. According to Tahiraj, protesting with the flag of Kosovo, in a secular state whose Constitution guarantees the right to belief and its practice, against the foundation stone of a Catholic church constitutes an absurdity. Equally absurd, he says, is opposing the construction of the church with the red-and-black flag of Gjergj Kastrioti.

In conclusion, Tahiraj described these actions as being incited by people psychologically influenced by emissaries of Political Islam, whom he claims are supported by Serbian intelligence agencies. He called on the security institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to focus their attention on the entire border area with Serbia and Macedonia, with the aim of uncovering agents of the Serbian and Macedonian services, which, according to him, operate in coordination, and preventing their anti-state and anti-national activities.

Tahiraj deklaron se shërbimet serbe e kanë përqendruar aktivitetin e tyre në zonat kufitare dhe se, përmes të gjitha mjeteve në dispozicion, kanë zhvilluar veprimtari antishqiptare në drejtime të ndryshme. Ai veçon religjionin si një prej fushave kryesore të këtij angazhimi, duke pretenduar se infiltrimi në religjionin islam ka qenë dhe vazhdon të jetë një prioritet i rëndësishëm.

Sipas tij, pas humbjes së luftës dhe tërheqjes së Serbisë nga Kosova bashkë me strukturat e saj ushtarake e policore, agjentura serbe ka mbetur në vend dhe e ka shtuar aktivitetin brenda religjionit islam. Tahiraj thotë se ky angazhim është shfaqur më së shumti përgjatë kufirit me Serbinë, në zonën nga Mitrovica, Vushtrria dhe Podujeva, duke vijuar më pas në Gjilan e deri në Kaçanik, të cilin e cilëson si një nga qendrat më aktive të këtyre agjenturave.

Duke iu referuar protestave të fundit në Vushtrri dhe kundërshtimit për ndërtimin e një kishe katolike, eksperti i sigurisë i ka lidhur këto zhvillime me aktivitetin e pretenduar të agjenturave serbe. Ai ka thënë se heqja e pllakës me emrat e Shën Florit dhe Shën Laurit, në vendin ku ishte paraparë ndërtimi i kishës, nuk duhet parë si një ngjarje e rastësishme.

Tahiraj pretendon se protestuesit janë ndikuar nga emisarë të Islamit Politik, pas të cilëve, sipas tij, qëndrojnë agjentura serbe. Ai ka deklaruar se manipulimi i tyre është bërë i mundur pas një ndikimi shumëvjeçar, i cili, në vlerësimin e tij, ka kaluar në një problem psikik që kërkon trajtim profesional nga institucionet shëndetësore.

Ai kërkon që institucionet e Kosovës të ndërmarrin veprime urgjente, duke përdorur strukturat profesionale ekzistuese dhe duke krijuar me shpejtësi edhe mekanizma të tjerë. Sipas Tahirajt, protestimi me flamurin e Kosovës, në një shtet laik ku Kushtetuta garanton të drejtën e besimit dhe ushtrimit të tij, kundër gurthemelit të një kishe katolike përbën një absurditet. Po aq absurde, sipas tij, është edhe kundërshtimi i ndërtimit të kishës me flamurin kuqezi të Gjergj Kastriotit.

Në përfundim, Tahiraj i ka cilësuar këto veprime si të nxitura nga persona të ndikuar psikikisht prej emisarëve të Islamit Politik, për të cilët ai pretendon se mbështeten nga agjenturat serbe. Ai u ka bërë thirrje institucioneve të sigurisë së Republikës së Kosovës që ta përqendrojnë vëmendjen në të gjithë brezin kufitar me Serbinë dhe Maqedoninë, me qëllim zbulimin e agjentëve të shërbimeve serbe dhe maqedonase, të cilat, sipas tij, veprojnë në sinkron, si dhe pengimin e aktiviteteve të tyre antishtetërore dhe antikombëtare.

Activist Saim Tahiraj said in a Facebook post that the Deçan Monastery should not be used for political purposes. According to him, Kosovo’s cultural heritage and historical truth must be protected from propaganda and political exploitation, rather than the monastery being subjected to protection imposed from abroad.

In his response, Tahiraj said that no one should support the propagandistic policy associated with this issue. He particularly criticized the actions of circles that, as he put it, undermine Kosovo’s state and national interests under the guise of Political Islam.

According to Tahiraj, Serbian chauvinist and hegemonic policies have waged an organized campaign for decades, portraying Kosovo’s religious and cultural heritage as exclusively Serbian. He assessed that the aim had been to create a political narrative around the identity and ownership of this heritage, adding that, unfortunately, this propaganda has also influenced how the issue is perceived by part of the international community.

Tahiraj stressed that Albanians, regardless of the religious affiliation of the sites, have a long history of preserving and respecting them. Regarding the Deçan Monastery, he called for consideration to also be given to the history of Albanian families who, based on evidence and a tradition passed down through generations, contributed to its construction and protection.

In this context, he mentioned the Buqaj family from Nokshiq, the Humaj family from Baballoq in Deçan, and the Demukaj family from Deçan. Tahiraj also said that the monastery was built under the supervision of the great Albanian architect Fra Vita Buqaj.

For this reason, he said, Albanians should not be portrayed as incapable of protecting their religious and cultural heritage. He emphasized that these sites have been preserved by them for centuries and that this care will continue today.

Tahiraj called on the international community to assess Kosovo without being influenced by old Greater Serbian propaganda. According to him, religious and cultural heritage must not be placed at the service of hegemonic policies or narratives aimed at distorting history.

He said the time had come for the international community not to be deceived by this propaganda and to prevent the use of religious sites for political objectives.

In his post, Tahiraj stated that Albanian tradition does not recognize the destruction of its own religious sites. On the contrary, according to him, Albanians have protected them with dedication and zeal, while they also regard the Deçan Monastery as part of a heritage that deserves respect and preservation.

In conclusion, he reiterated that the Deçan Monastery must not become a pretext for hegemonic policies. Tahiraj called for history to be studied on the basis of facts, heritage to be treated with respect, and Albanians to be trusted to preserve what they have protected for centuries.

Në reagimin e tij, Tahiraj tha se askush nuk duhet ta përkrahë politikën propagandistike që lidhet me këtë çështje. Ai kritikoi veçanërisht veprimet e qarqeve që, siç u shpreh, nën petkun e Islamit Politik cenojnë interesat shtetërore dhe kombëtare të Kosovës.

Sipas Tahirajt, politika shoviniste dhe hegjemoniste serbe ka zhvilluar prej dekadash një fushatë të organizuar, përmes së cilës trashëgimia fetare dhe kulturore e Kosovës është paraqitur si vetëm serbe. Ai vlerësoi se synimi ka qenë krijimi i një narrative politike rreth identitetit dhe pronësisë së kësaj trashëgimie, ndërsa shtoi se kjo propagandë, fatkeqësisht, ka ndikuar edhe në mënyrën se si çështja perceptohet nga një pjesë e faktorit ndërkombëtar.

Tahiraj theksoi se shqiptarët, pa marrë parasysh përkatësinë fetare të objekteve, kanë një histori të gjatë të ruajtjes dhe respektimit të tyre. Për Manastirin e Deçanit, ai kërkoi të merret parasysh edhe historia e familjeve shqiptare që, bazuar në dëshmitë dhe traditën e trashëguar ndër breza, kanë kontribuar në ndërtimin dhe mbrojtjen e tij.

Në këtë kontekst, ai përmendi familjen Buqaj nga Nokshiqi, familjen Humaj nga Baballoqi i Deçanit dhe familjen Demukaj nga Deçani. Tahiraj po ashtu tha se manastiri ishte ndërtuar nën kujdesin e arkitektit të madh shqiptar Fra Vita Buqaj.

Për këtë arsye, sipas tij, shqiptarët nuk duhet të paraqiten si të paaftë për të mbrojtur trashëgiminë e tyre fetare dhe kulturore. Ai nënvizoi se këto objekte janë ruajtur prej tyre përgjatë shekujve dhe se kjo përkujdesje do të vazhdojë edhe sot.

Tahiraj i bëri thirrje bashkësisë ndërkombëtare që ta vlerësojë Kosovën pa u ndikuar nga propaganda e vjetër serbomadhe. Sipas tij, nuk duhet lejuar që trashëgimia fetare dhe kulturore të vihet në funksion të politikave hegjemoniste apo të rrëfimeve që synojnë shtrembërimin e historisë.

Ai tha se ka ardhur koha që faktori ndërkombëtar të mos mashtrohet nga kjo propagandë dhe të pengojë përdorimin e objekteve fetare për objektiva politikë.

Në postim, Tahiraj deklaroi se tradita shqiptare nuk njeh shkatërrimin e objekteve të veta fetare. Përkundrazi, sipas tij, shqiptarët i kanë mbrojtur ato me përkushtim dhe fanatizëm, ndërsa edhe Manastirin e Deçanit e shohin si pjesë të trashëgimisë që meriton respekt dhe ruajtje.

Në përfundim, ai ritheksoi se Manastiri i Deçanit nuk duhet të kthehet në pretekst për politika hegjemoniste. Tahiraj kërkoi që historia të studiohet duke u mbështetur në fakte, trashëgimia të trajtohet me respekt dhe shqiptarëve t’u besohet ruajtja e asaj që kanë mbrojtur ndër shekuj.

Speaking to “Bota sot,” he stressed that the Assembly will determine more than just the party leader or its political course. According to Tahiraj, this decision will affect the future of the LDK and, to a large extent, the direction Kosovo will take.

He reminded the delegates that they bear an extraordinary responsibility, as each of their votes will send a message to hundreds of thousands of LDK members, activists and supporters. Tahiraj said they expect, above all, unity from the Assembly, as well as a stronger, more united LDK that is better prepared to serve Kosovo.

According to him, delegates must not allow emotions of the moment, resentment, jealousy or individual interests to take precedence over the good of the LDK. He said such tendencies have repeatedly harmed their political family and brought satisfaction only to their opponents. For this reason, Tahiraj called on them to leave these issues behind and demonstrate maturity, wisdom and responsibility.

In his message, the activist also drew attention to the political legacy of Kosovo’s historic president, Ibrahim Rugova, calling for the democratic and unifying spirit within the LDK to be protected.

Tahiraj recalled that Ibrahim Rugova built the LDK’s vision on democracy, dialogue, respect and unity. He described this legacy as a solemn trust that the delegates must preserve with dignity, adding that today, more than ever, the party needs each of them to strengthen unity rather than deepen divisions.

According to him, history will honor those delegates who, at a decisive moment, give priority to unity over division, responsibility over personal interests and the future of the LDK over any other calculation.

He stressed that this is the day when delegates must show that they deserve the trust placed in them by the party membership.

Në prononcimin për “Bota sot”, ai ka nënvizuar se në Kuvend nuk do të përcaktohet vetëm kryetari apo kursi politik. Sipas Tahirajt, ky vendim do të ndikojë në të ardhmen e LDK-së dhe, në masë të madhe, edhe në drejtimin që do të ndjekë Kosova.

Ai u ka kujtuar delegatëve se mbajnë mbi vete një përgjegjësi të jashtëzakonshme, pasi çdo votë e tyre do t’u përcjellë një mesazh qindra mijëra anëtarëve, veprimtarëve dhe përkrahësve të LDK-së. Tahiraj ka thënë se ata presin nga Kuvendi mbi të gjitha unitet, si dhe një LDK më të fuqishme, më të bashkuar dhe më të përgatitur për t’i shërbyer Kosovës.

Delegatët, sipas tij, nuk duhet të lejojnë që emocionet e momentit, inatet, xhelozitë ose interesat individuale të vendosen mbi të mirën e LDK-së. Ai ka vlerësuar se dukuri të tilla e kanë dëmtuar vazhdimisht familjen e tyre politike dhe u kanë sjellë kënaqësi vetëm kundërshtarëve. Për këtë arsye, Tahiraj u ka bërë thirrje t’i lënë ato pas dhe të tregojnë pjekuri, urtësi e përgjegjësi.

Në mesazhin e tij, veprimtari ka sjellë në vëmendje edhe trashëgiminë politike të presidentit historik të Kosovës, Ibrahim Rugova, duke kërkuar që brenda LDK-së të mbrohet fryma demokratike dhe bashkuese.

Tahiraj ka rikujtuar se Ibrahim Rugova e ndërtoi vizionin e LDK-së mbi demokracinë, dialogun, respektin dhe bashkimin. Këtë trashëgimi ai e ka cilësuar si një amanet që delegatët duhet ta ruajnë me dinjitet, duke shtuar se partia, sot më shumë se kurrë, ka nevojë për secilin prej tyre për ta fuqizuar unitetin dhe jo për t’i thelluar ndarjet.

Sipas tij, historia do t’i nderojë ata delegatë që, në një çast vendimtar, i japin përparësi bashkimit ndaj përçarjes, përgjegjësisë ndaj interesave personale dhe së ardhmes së LDK-së ndaj çdo përllogaritjeje tjetër.

Ai ka theksuar se kjo është dita kur delegatët duhet të tregojnë se e meritojnë besimin e marrë nga anëtarësia.

“Mbi të gjitha LDK-ja. Mbi të gjitha Kosova. Të bashkuar jemi më të fortë”, ka deklaruar Tahiraj për “Bota sot”.
