Minister of Culture and Tourism Sedat Sulejmani conducted an inspection visit today to the construction site of the Universal Hall in Skopje, where he received an update on the current stage of the works.

The ministry announced that the project is being implemented in accordance with the schedule. So far, excavation at basement level has been completed, the columns have been built, and measures have been taken to protect the structure. At the same time, work is continuing on the processing and installation of steel components.

During the inspection, Sulejmani said that the construction site was visited in the presence of the head of works, “Megaron Engineering” Skopje, the supervisory body “EOS E.E Consulting” – LLC Skopje, and the contractor “Universal Balkan” LLC Skopje. According to him, the planned preparatory, construction and craft works, as well as the demolitions, have been successfully completed, while the basement excavation, construction of the columns and measures to protect the structure have also been completed.

“The works are progressing according to the established schedule, and visible signs of progress are expected to be noticed as early as this weekend. If this pace continues, Skopje will finally have a modern Universal Hall in 2028, a facility of great importance to the capital,” Sulejmani wrote.

The Universal Hall will retain its old appearance and will have a capacity of 1,200 seats. The facility is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2027.

Ministri i Kulturës dhe Turizmit, Sedat Sulejmani, zhvilloi sot një vizitë inspektuese në kantierin e Sallës Universale në Shkup, ku mori informacion mbi fazën aktuale të punimeve.

Ministria bëri të ditur se projekti po zbatohet në përputhje me planin dinamik. Deri tani janë kryer gërmimet në nivelin e bodrumit, janë ndërtuar shtyllat dhe janë zhvilluar ndërhyrjet për mbrojtjen e konstruksionit. Paralelisht, vijon puna për përpunimin dhe montimin e pjesëve prej çeliku.

Gjatë inspektimit, Sulejmani u shpreh se kantieri u vizitua në prani të drejtuesit të punimeve, “Megaron Engineering” Shkup, organit mbikëqyrës “EOS E.E Consulting” – SHPK Shkup dhe kontraktorit “Universal Balkan” SHPK Shkup. Sipas tij, punimet përgatitore, ndërtimore-zejtare dhe prishjet e parashikuara janë përmbyllur me sukses, ndërsa kanë përfunduar edhe gërmimet e bodrumit, ndërtimi i shtyllave dhe masat për mbrojtjen e konstruksionit.

“Punimet po ecin sipas dinamikës së përcaktuar dhe shenjat e dukshme të përparimit pritet të vërehen që këtë fundjavë. Nëse ky ritëm vazhdon, Shkupi në vitin 2028 do të ketë më në fund Sallën moderne Universale, një objekt me rëndësi të madhe për kryeqytetin”, shkroi Sulejmani.

Salla Universale do të ruajë pamjen e saj të vjetër dhe do të ketë një kapacitet prej 1200 vendesh. Objekti duhet të përfundojë deri në fund të vitit 2027.
