A fire broke out this morning in Rriban, Mallakastër. As the footage shows, the flames have engulfed the forested area, making it even more difficult for firefighting services to intervene.

Despite the challenging terrain, firefighters are working to bring the flames under control.

Mallakastër was also affected by fires yesterday, when around 10 hectares of olive groves and scrubland burned near the village of Hekal, close to “Qafa e Vidhit.”

The flames also approached oil wells and homes, but fortunately they were brought under control in time.
