Today, our country will be affected by mostly stable weather conditions, favoring clear skies across most of the territory.

According to the forecast, the coast and central areas will have clear weather throughout the day, while in the north and east there will occasionally be light to moderate but temporary cloudiness.

Local light rain is expected in the Alps area and in the northeast, where isolated and short-lived thunderstorms cannot be ruled out.

Meanwhile, in the mountainous areas of the southeast and south, there may be isolated and short-lived rainfall, mainly in the form of raindrops. No precipitation is forecast in the rest of the country.

The wind will blow mainly from the western quadrant, with an average speed of around 7 m/s, while the sea will be calm, with waves of 1–2 on the Adriatic and Ionian seas.

According to the announcement, all services will remain available throughout the night in order to deal with the consequences caused by the rainfall and strong winds.

The full statement says that, due to the severe weather that has affected Skopje, teams from Cair Municipality, teams from the public enterprise “Parks and Greenery,” the Crisis Headquarters, as well as other competent services, have been deployed in the field and are acting in continuous coordination with the relevant institutions, monitoring the situation and intervening wherever required.

The municipality is also urging citizens to be cautious, avoid unnecessary movement in endangered areas, and cooperate with the competent services. Citizens who notice fallen trees, broken branches, or other obstacles on the roads are invited to report them to the number 112 so that teams can intervene as quickly as possible.

According to the announcement, the teams are continuously in the field and are working to remedy the situation and provide assistance wherever needed, while emphasizing that the safety of citizens remains the top priority.

We recall that, due to the rainfall, the situation also appears significantly worsened in several other cities. So far, flooding has been reported in some areas, as well as blockages in several stormwater and sewage channels.
