Conditions at all border crossing points are reported to be calm, with no long waits. At most of them, vehicles are waiting between 3 and 5 minutes, both on entry and exit.

A longer waiting time has been recorded at Dheu i Bardhë, where it reaches up to 20 minutes, while at Merdarë, the wait on exit is up to 30 minutes.

Truck traffic is also moving without queues. At all border crossing points, the waiting time for heavy vehicles is 3–5 minutes both on entry and exit.

Today, longer queues and varying waiting times have been recorded at a number of border crossings.

At Jarinje, travelers are waiting up to 40 minutes, while at Merdare, waiting times have reached up to 60 minutes.

The situation is less severe at Dheu i Bardhë, where waits range from 10 to 20 minutes.

There are also queues at Kullë and Hani i Elezit, where, according to available information, waiting times are 10 minutes.

The Dheu i Bardhë border crossing continues to see the highest traffic, with waits of up to 60 minutes for citizens leaving Kosovo. For entry into the country, the waiting time is up to 30 minutes.

Updated data at 16:18 shows that the queue at the exit from Dheu i Bardhë is about 500 metres long, while the entry line reaches approximately 300 metres.

A wait of up to half an hour is also reported at the Muçibabë border crossing, where the line of vehicles leaving Kosovo is about 200 metres.

At other border crossings, traffic is lighter. At Jarinje and Merdare, waits to leave Kosovo are up to 10 minutes.

At the height of the tourist season, heavy movement of travelers and vehicles was recorded around midday today on both sides of the border between Albania and Kosovo.

At Morinë, an increase in the number of citizens and vehicles entering Albanian territory was observed. The counters are operating at full capacity and, despite the influx, there have so far been no reports of long queues or significant delays.

Increased traffic is also being reported at the Vërmicë border crossing, in the direction of Kosovo. Most of the travelers are citizens of Kosovo returning after holidays on Albania’s coast, as well as members of the diaspora traveling toward their homeland.

Citizens who had chosen Albania to spend the weekend or a few days on holiday are also returning to Kosovo.

The high number of vehicles has also placed additional pressure on traffic along the Nation’s Road. Traffic remains particularly heavy along the Kalimash Tunnel–Kukës–Morinë section.
