A small quantity of suspected TNT was found early Saturday near the door of a shop in Durrës’s District No. 13, in the city’s beach area. The business belongs to rapper Rigels Rajku, publicly known as Noizy.

Immediately after the suspected explosive material was discovered, police officers and an investigative team arrived at the scene. The necessary procedures are currently being carried out to document the case, establish the circumstances and identify the perpetrator or perpetrators.

The material had not detonated, and no property damage or injuries were reported as a result of the incident. The latest case has brought renewed attention to another similar incident involving the rapper’s businesses.

On June 8, 2022, TNT was planted at a clothing store and a bar owned by Noizy. No one was injured on that occasion either. At the time, the incidents were linked to disputes between Noizy and rapper Kleviol Ahmeti, known as Cllevio Serbiano.

The investigation into the 2022 explosion is ongoing and is being conducted by the Special Prosecution Office. According to information made public during the investigative proceedings, Laert Haxhiu, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for the 2017 “Lushnja Massacre,” is suspected of having ordered the planting of the TNT.

Following the latest incident, investigators are looking into whether the case recorded in Durrës is connected to the previous incidents or whether a new dispute is behind it.
