A property dispute between two brothers in Vlora’s “Uji i Ftohtë” neighborhood led to the arrest of one of them after he allegedly threatened his brother with a firearm.

After receiving a complaint, police intervened, preventing the conflict from escalating and averting a possible criminal incident.

J. T., 47, who has a criminal record for drug trafficking, was arrested. During the operation, officers seized a pistol, two magazines and 30 rounds of ammunition.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the confrontation between the brothers began over a property issue and that the 47-year-old used the gun to threaten his brother.
