<p>The operational update issued on August 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., reports that 12 wildfire hotspots have been recorded across the country. Of these, 4 remain active, while 3 others are being monitored.</p>
<p>A total of 214 operational personnel, 6 firefighting vehicles, 75 Armed Forces personnel and 3 helicopters have been deployed to manage the situation.</p>
<p>The greatest difficulties have been reported in Dajti, toward Qafë-Priskë and opposite Farkë, where the fire has reignited and continued to spread.</p>
<p>A total of 25 firefighters and AZM personnel, as well as 20 Armed Forces personnel, are working in the area. Meanwhile, 2 helicopters have also joined the operation.</p>
<p>Significant forces have also been deployed in Vajkal, Bulqiza, to extinguish the flames. The operation is being supported by 1 helicopter and 30 Armed Forces personnel, together with MZSH teams, forestry forces and volunteers.</p>
<p>Active hotspots have also been reported in Qafë e Helmës, where the situation is being monitored without any developments and poses no threat to homes, as well as in Sllatinë, Dibër.</p>
<p>A total of 78 personnel from MZSH, the forestry service, ADZM, the municipality and volunteer groups have been deployed in the latter area.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, the hotspots in Komsi, Mount Dardhë and Mount Qukës have been isolated or are under surveillance and do not threaten populated areas, while the fire in Delisuf, Vlorë, has been completely extinguished. The flames there affected approximately 2 hectares of shrubland.</p>
