“It is clear that we are dealing with food poisoning. The meal was consumed on Monday by the first shift at the company Mikrosam, while the symptoms appeared over the following two days. From the first shift, 61 employees were exposed, while so far 41 have shown signs of poisoning. Of them, 27 sought medical assistance at the Department of Infectious Diseases at the city hospital. We have interviewed all of them.

All of them are presenting a moderate clinical condition, with high fever, nausea, diarrhea and abdominal pain. Up to this moment, no one has been hospitalized, but they have received therapy and are being treated at home,” said epidemiologist Tatijana Stanimiroviq from the Public Health Center in Prilep.

Meanwhile, the kitchen of the company that provided the food service and had distributed the meal has been closed, as has the canteen at the company where the food was consumed.

The Public Health Center is still awaiting the results that will determine the type and cause of the poisoning.

Pas një vakti të konsumuar të hënën, 41 punonjës të kompanisë “Mikrosam” në Prilep kanë shfaqur simptoma të helmimit nga ushqimi. Sipas Qendrës së Shëndetit Publik në Prilep, asnjë prej tyre nuk ka përfunduar i shtruar në spital.

Institucioni bëri të ditur se, së bashku me Inspektoratin Sanitar dhe Shëndetësor, si edhe me Agjencinë e Ushqimit dhe Veterinarisë, është realizuar një kontroll dhe mbikëqyrje e jashtëzakonshme si në kompani, ashtu edhe te firma që përgatiste dhe shpërndante ushqimin.

“Është e qartë se kemi të bëjmë me helmim nga ushqimi. Vakti është konsumuar të hënën nga turni i parë në kompaninë Mikrosam, ndërsa simptomat janë paraqitur gjatë dy ditëve në vijim. Nga turni i parë, 61 punonjës kanë qenë të ekspozuar, ndërsa deri tani 41 kanë shfaqur shenja helmimi. Prej tyre, 27 kanë kërkuar ndihmë mjekësore në Departamentin e Sëmundjeve Infektive në spitalin e qytetit. Ne i kemi anketuar të gjithë.

Të gjithë paraqesin një gjendje klinike mesatare, me temperaturë të lartë, të përziera, diarre dhe dhimbje barku.
