The main item on the agenda is an urgent question time session with Finance Minister Petrit Malaj, initiated by Democratic Party MP Jorida Tabaku.

In addition to the debate with the finance minister, lawmakers will review a broad package of draft laws and assess the annual reports of several key institutions for the previous year.

The session will begin with approval of the minutes from July 13, 2026, followed by the usual announcements.

The draft laws on the agenda include those on commercial certificates in agriculture, the agricultural census, as well as amendments to the laws on chemical management and aquaculture.

Changes to legislation on the protection of agricultural land and books will also be discussed.

MPs will also be asked to approve several international agreements, including technical cooperation with Germany for 2025, a loan from the EBRD to expand the Tirana-Durres railway rehabilitation project and its connection to Tirana International Airport, as well as the ratification of the Convention on the Office of the European Civil Aviation Conference, signed in Bern.

Another item is a draft decision to appoint a new member to the Statistics Council.

The final part of the agenda is devoted to approving a series of draft resolutions assessing the work of a considerable number of independent institutions during 2025. These include the Central Election Commission, the General Inspector of the High Inspectorate for Declaration and Audit of Assets and Conflicts of Interest, the Bank of Albania, the Financial Supervisory Authority, the Institute of Statistics, the Electronic and Postal Communications Authority, Albanian Radio Television, the Audiovisual Media Authority, the Energy Regulatory Authority and the Water Regulatory Authority.

The session will conclude with discussions on issues that are not part of the official agenda.
