The Energy, Water Services and Municipal Waste Management Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of North Macedonia (KRRE) approved a decision to increase the retail prices of petroleum products by an average of 4.85% compared with the decision dated 10.8.2026.

Under the decision, EUROSUPER BS-95 and EUROSUPER BS-98 petrol will each increase by 4.50 denars per litre. The price of EURODIESEL (D-E V) will rise by 6.50 denars per litre, while Extra Light Household Oil (EL-1) will cost 6.00 denars more per litre. An increase of 0.188 denars per kilogram has been set for M-1 SU fuel oil, bringing its price to 43.726 denars per kilogram.

The reduced excise duty of 2.00 denars per litre for EUROSUPER BS-95 and EUROSUPER BS-98 petrol remains in effect under today’s decision. The excise duty reduction of 4.00 denars per litre also remains in place for EURODIESEL (D-E V).

Starting at 00:01 on 18.8.2026, the maximum prices will be as follows:

EUROSUPER BS-95 motor petrol: 91.50 denars per litre.

EUROSUPER BS-98 motor petrol: 93.50 denars per litre.

EURODIESEL BS (D-E V): 98.00 denars per litre.

Extra Light Fuel Oil 1 (EL-1): 98.50 denars per litre.

M-1 SU fuel oil: 43.726 denars per kilogram.

The Energy, Water Services and Municipal Waste Management Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of North Macedonia (KRRE) has approved a new decision on petroleum product prices. According to the institution’s announcement, retail prices will decrease by an average of 1.24% compared with the decision dated 27 July 2026.

Today’s calculation applies an excise duty reduction of 2.00 denars per liter for EUROSUPER BS-95 and EUROSUPER BS-98 petrol, while the excise duty on EURODIESEL (D-E V) has been reduced by 4.00 denars per liter.

EUROSUPER BS-95 and EUROSUPER BS-98 petrol will cost 2.00 denars per liter less. Meanwhile, the price of EURODIESEL (D-E V) will increase by 1.00 denar per liter.

Extra Light Household Oil (EL-1) will also increase by 0.50 denars per liter, while the price of M-1 SU fuel oil will decrease by 1.680 denars per kilogram.

The new maximum prices will take effect on 5 August 2026 at 00:01.

EUROSUPER BS-95 will be sold at 91.00 denars per liter.

EUROSUPER BS-98 will cost 93.00 denars per liter.

The price of EURODIESEL BS (D-E V) will be 99.50 denars per liter.

Extra Light Fuel Oil 1 (EL-1) will be sold at 98.50 denars per liter.

North Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski announced that fuel prices will be analyzed on Monday and the new prices of petroleum products will be announced.

“The fuel price analysis will be conducted on Monday,” Mickoski said today, explaining that this is a routine procedure carried out by the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).

He made the remarks in response to journalists’ questions following the prime minister’s visit to the Clinical Hospital in Bitola.

Mickoski also announced that inflation data for July is expected to be published soon.

“However, based on the information I receive from the State Market Inspectorate, I expect completely different priorities,” he emphasized.

Regarding claims that the second pension pillar could be abolished, Mickoski denied that the Government had made any such announcement.

“Who announced that the second pillar would be abolished? I can speak on behalf of the Government, and it has made no such announcement,” Mickoski said.

Under the decision, EUROSUPER BS-95 and EUROSUPER BS-98 petrol will each increase by 3.00 denars per liter, while the price of EURODIESEL (D-E V) will rise by 6.00 denars per liter.

Extra Light Household Oil (EL-1) will cost 7.00 denars more per liter.

Meanwhile, M-1 SU fuel oil will increase by 3.209 denars per kilogram, reaching 45.373 denars per kilogram.

From 00:01 on 21.07.2026, the following maximum prices for petroleum products will apply:

EUROSUPER BS-95 will cost 90.00 denars per liter.

EUROSUPER BS-98 will be sold at 92.00 denars per liter.

EURODIESEL BS (D-E V) will be sold for 94.00 denars per liter.

Extra Light Fuel Oil 1 (EL-1) will be priced at 93.00 denars per liter.
