According to preliminary information, the incident happened at around 22:30, and it is suspected that a large rock broke away from the hillside above the road and fell onto a “Benz” vehicle driven by citizen Arjan Hoxha, 42, a resident of the village of Gjergjan in Elbasan.

As a result of the powerful impact, the 42-year-old died at the scene.

Immediately after the incident, Police services and the investigative team arrived at the scene and are working to fully clarify the circumstances and legally document the case.
