Twenty-one new operators of the Directorate of Rapid Intervention Units have been certified by the Kosovo Police.

The certification ceremony took place on Friday at the “Enver Zymeri” Special Units Center.

The new members successfully completed all stages of selection and preparation, including an eight-week basic training.

During this intensive period, they received professional, physical and tactical preparation, while acquiring the necessary skills for rapid response and efficient intervention in various operational situations.

The certification documents were handed to the operators by the General Director of the Kosovo Police, Colonel Gazmend Hoxha.

Hoxha congratulated them on the achievement, appreciating the dedication and commitment they showed throughout the selection and training process.

He noted that discipline, professionalism and responsibility are essential for performing police duties.

Kosovo Police special forces have completed two intensive training programs focused on water rescue and search operations, as well as diving techniques.

According to a Facebook post, the activities took place in Borsh, Albania, during the weeks of July, with the participation of 30 members from the special units of the Kosovo Police Special Units Department.

Through these exercises, the special forces have significantly strengthened their professional skills and operational capacity, becoming better prepared to intervene quickly and efficiently in cases of civilian emergencies or natural disasters.
