Valon Zeqiri, director of the Public Municipal Enterprise “Sharri”, announced today that the water in Tetovo is safe for consumption, inviting residents to use it without concern.

He explained that quality tests are carried out regularly every day, a practice reinforced after the pollution incident in Gostivar.

The latest results, which came out just an hour ago, he described as the clearest so far, confirming the water’s purity.

Zeqiri stressed that authorities have strengthened oversight and anyone posing a threat to the supply network will face sanctions.
