The agreement for the design and construction of the North Macedonia–Serbia gas interconnector was signed by Nedim Rama, director of NOMAGAS JSC, and Toni Karanfillovski, a representative of the construction company “Rapid Bild.”

According to the data presented, the interconnector segment on the country’s territory will extend for 22.4 kilometers, while the completion of the entire project is planned by the end of 2028. Its cost will be 29.4 million euros.

Nedim Rama said that the local company “Rapid Bild” was selected after submitting the most favorable offer. He announced that the pipeline will have a diameter of 500 millimeters.

“The starting point will be near the ‘Kleçevc’ block station, while the endpoint will be at the border with Serbia, near the village of Sopot. The project also includes the construction of five associated facilities: a main metering station, a reduction station, a block station, and two receiving and dispatch stations for pipeline cleaning,” said Nedim Rama, director of NOMAGAS JSC.

Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said that the construction of interconnectors with Greece and Serbia would provide the country with a complete vertical connection in the energy sector. According to him, the interconnector with Greece is expected to be completed in the first half of next year, while the connection with Serbia is expected to be completed in the second half, by the end of 2028.

“Upon completion of these projects, we will have a fully vertical connection, which is part of Corridor 10. This will dramatically increase the geostrategic importance of the country’s position,” declared Hristijan Mickoski, prime minister.

The planned technical capacity of the interconnector is up to 160,000 cubic meters of gas per hour.

Marrëveshja për projektimin dhe ndërtimin e interkonektorit të gazit Maqedoni-Serbi u firmos nga drejtori i SHA NOMAGAS, Nedim Rama, dhe përfaqësuesi i kompanisë ndërtuese “Rapid Bild”, Toni Karanfillovski.

Sipas të dhënave të prezantuara, segmenti i interkonektorit në territorin e vendit do të shtrihet në një gjatësi prej 22.4 kilometrash, ndërsa përfundimi i të gjithë projektit është planifikuar deri në fund të vitit 2028. Kostoja e tij do të jetë 29.4 milion euro.

Nedim Rama deklaroi se kompania vendase “Rapid Bild” u përzgjodh pasi paraqiti ofertën më të favorshme. Ai bëri të ditur se tubacioni do të ketë diametër prej 500 milimetër.

“Pika fillestare do të jetë pranë bllok stacionit ‘Kleçevc’, ndërsa pika e fundit do të jetë në kufirin me Serbinë pranë fshatit Sopot. Projekti përfshin gjithashtu ndërtimin e 5 objekteve shoqëruese: stacionit kryesor matës, stacionit reduktues, bllok stacionit dhe dy stacioneve pranuese dhe dërguese për pastrimin e tubacionit”, deklaroi Nedim Rama, drejtor i SHA NOMAGAS.

Kryeministri Hristijan Mickoski tha se ndërtimi i interkonektorëve me Greqinë dhe Serbinë do t’i sigurojë vendit një lidhje të plotë vertikale në fushën e energjisë. Sipas tij, interkonektori me Greqinë pritet të përfundojë në gjysmën e parë të vitit të ardhshëm, ndërsa lidhja me Serbinë në gjysmën e dytë, në fund të vitit 2028.

“Pas përfundimit të këtyre projekteve do të marrim një lidhje plotësisht vertikale, e cila është pjesë e Korridorit 10. Kjo do ta bëjë në mënyrë dramatike më të rëndësishëm pozicionin gjeostrategjik të vendit”, deklaroi Hristijan Mickoski, kryeministër.

Kapaciteti teknik i parashikuar për interkonektorin është deri në 160 000 kub gazë në orë.
