During these consultations, the advancement of relations between the two countries, the agreements currently in process, the organization of the upcoming Kosovo-Austria economic forum, developments in the Western Balkans, and the European integration process of the Republic of Kosovo were discussed.

Both sides expressed readiness to continue the political consultations regularly and to direct cooperation toward concrete results and new bilateral initiatives.

Gjatë vizitës u zhvilluan edhe konsultimet politike mes Ministrisë së Punëve të Jashtme dhe Diasporës të Republikës së Kosovës dhe Ministrisë Federale për Çështje Evropiane dhe Ndërkombëtare të Austrisë. Delegacionin e Kosovës e udhëhoqi Zëvendësministri Ahmeti, ndërsa ai austriak u kryesua nga Ambasadorja Elisabeth Kornfeind.
