This Friday, Ermal Jauri was appointed the new Director-General of the National Authority for Classified Information Security. He replaces Altin Jani, who was relieved of his duties by a decision of Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu.

Jani had held the post since 2024 and joined the National Authority for Classified Information Security in 2012.

ON THE RELIEF AND APPOINTMENT OF THE DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF THE NATIONAL AUTHORITY FOR CLASSIFIED INFORMATION SECURITY

Pursuant to Article 100 of the Constitution; point “ç” of paragraph 1 of Article 67, and Article 66 of Law No. 10/2023, “On Classified Information,” upon the proposal of the Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers

DECIDED:

Mr. Altin Jani, Director-General of the National Authority for Classified Information Security, is relieved of this duty.Mr. Ermal Jauri is appointed Director-General of the National Authority for Classified Information Security.
