According to officials, these buildings were erected without permits on land managed by the Ibër-Lepenc company, sparking debate over property rights and institutional jurisdiction.

Faruk Mujka, the general director of this enterprise, in a statement to “Bota sot,” explained that the lands affected by the demolition have belonged to the company since 1973, when the expropriation process for the creation of the Ujman reservoir was completed.

He stressed that operations to free public property will not stop in the face of any usurpation, regardless of the ethnic origin of those involved.

“The lands in question are not just in temporary use, but are the full property of ‘Ibër-Lepenc’ since the expropriation carried out for the lake project in 1973. Our system constitutes vital infrastructure and full control over it is non-negotiable. Furthermore, the lake is an essential water source on which the supply of one-third of the population of the Republic of Kosovo depends,” Mujka stated.

Speaking about future plans, he added that the campaign to clear state lands of illegal constructions will extend to all areas where violations are found, without distinction of nationality, describing this as an unstoppable mission to protect the assets of ‘Ibër-Lepenc’.

Ai nënvizoi se operacionet për çlirimin e pronës publike nuk do të ndalen përballë asnjë rasti të uzurpimit, pavarësisht origjinës etnike të përfshirëve.

“Terrenet në fjalë nuk janë thjesht në përdorim të përkohshëm, por janë pronë e plotë e ‘Ibër-Lepencit’ që nga shpronësimi i realizuar për projektin e liqenit në vitin 1973. Sistemi ynë përbën infrastrukturë me rëndësi jetike dhe kontrolli i plotë mbi të është i padiskutueshëm. Veç kësaj, liqeni është një burim thelbësor uji, prej të cilit varet furnizimi i një të tretës së popullsisë së Republikës së Kosovës”, u shpreh Mujka.

Duke folur për planet në vijim, ai shtoi se fushata për spastrimin e tokave shtetërore nga ndërtimet ilegale do të shtrihet në të gjitha zonat ku konstatohen shkelje, pa bërë dallime kombësie, duke e cilësuar këtë si një mision të pandalshëm për mbrojtjen e aseteve të “Ibër-Lepencit”.

“These parcels are not simply under administration; they are full property of ‘Ibër-Lepenc’ since the expropriation for the lake in 1973. Our infrastructure is critical and must absolutely remain under the complete control of the enterprise. Moreover, the lake serves as a water source for one third of the population of the Republic of Kosovo,” said Mujka.

Speaking about future plans, he added: “The action to free public properties, in this case those of ‘Ibër-Lepenc’, will continue wherever usurpations and illegal constructions are found, regardless of nationality.”

Our infrastructure is of critical importance and must absolutely remain under the full control of the company. Moreover, the lake is considered a water source that supplies one third of the population of the Republic of Kosovo,” Mujka stated.

He added that “the operation to liberate public properties, in this case those belonging to ‘Ibër-Lepenc’, will continue wherever there are encroachments and constructions without permits, without making any distinctions on national grounds.”

Faruk Mujka, chief executive of Ibër Lepenci, confirmed to KosovaPress that an operation has begun to demolish 11 houses built on the company’s property near Lake Ujman.

He said the operation is being carried out by the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Environment.

According to Mujka, on July 3, the 11 people who had built houses on Ibër Lepenci’s property were notified to remove their belongings and vacate the buildings by July 17.

Since the request had not been complied with, Ibër Lepenci notified the inspectorate, which went to the site today to take action. Mujka explained to KosovaPress that all belongings are expected to be removed from the houses first, after which the buildings will be demolished.

Faruk Mujka, kryeshef ekzekutiv i Ibër Lepencit, ka konfirmuar për KosovaPress se ka nisur aksioni për rrënimin e 11 shtëpive të ndërtuara në pronën e ndërmarrjes pranë liqenit të Ujmanit.

Ai deklaroi se operacioni po zbatohet nga Inspektorati i Ministrisë së Ambientit.

Sipas Mujkës, më 3 korrik, 11 personat që kishin ngritur shtëpi në pronën e Ibër Lepencit ishin njoftuar që të merrnin sendet e tyre dhe t’i lironin objektet deri më 17 korrik.

Meqë kërkesa nuk ishte zbatuar, Ibër Lepenci e kishte njoftuar inspektoratin, i cili doli sot në terren për të ndërmarrë veprimet. Mujka sqaroi për KosovaPress se fillimisht nga shtëpitë pritet të nxirren të gjitha gjërat dhe më pas objektet do të shemben.
