Minister of Foreign Affairs Glauk Konjufca spoke on the day when the verdict is expected to be announced in The Hague for Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi. “…We expect only one decision—an acquittal verdict,” he said.

Konjufca will closely follow the announcement of the decision in The Hague. Andin Hoti, the minister for Labour, Family and the Values of the Liberation War, is also expected to be present at the Specialist Chambers. The two officials will follow the proceedings from the court gallery.

The case against the four defendants concerns the allegations made by the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office of war crimes and crimes against humanity during and after the Kosovo war. Thaçi, Veseli, Selimi and Krasniqi have denied these charges.
