Publicist Milaim Nela has intervened in the debate over the National Liberation War period, describing it as an internal clash rather than a true liberation war.

In a message shared on social media, he accused historians who support the communist version of justifying a painful chapter of Albanian history.

Nela expressed disappointment that, according to him, Albanians have still not recognized the truth of these events. He claims that historical discussion continues to be influenced by the legacy of the communist period.

According to him, the so-called National Liberation War is not debatable at all, as pro-communist historians try to present it. It clearly constitutes a genuine civil conflict, fratricidal and criminal, directed by the Serbo-Slavs who founded and actually controlled the Albanian communist party, today’s SP.

He said he was deeply affected that in his country, even after 114 years as a state, Albanians cannot recognize the true history of the events that have left their mark, but continue to be fed the lies of communist fossils.

Ajo përbën në mënyrë të qartë një konflikt të mirëfilltë civil, vëllavrasës dhe kriminal, të drejtuar nga serbo-sllavët që themeluan dhe kontrolluan realisht partinë komuniste shqiptare, sot PS.

Ai u shpreh thellësisht i prekur që në vendin e tij, edhe pas 114 vitesh shtet, shqiptarët nuk arrijnë të njohin historinë e vërtetë të ngjarjeve që kanë lënë gjurmë, por vazhdojnë të ushqehen me gënjeshtrat e fosileve komuniste.

Publicist Milaim Nela has again intervened in discussions about the National Liberation War, describing it as an internal clash among Albanians and not a true liberation movement.

Through a post published on social platforms, he sharply criticized scholars who continue to support the communist version of events, accusing them of legitimizing a dark chapter of the national past.

According to Nela, Albanian citizens still have not confronted the historical truth of that time, and the debate remains trapped in the ideological legacy of the communist period.

In his full reaction, he writes that the so-called National Liberation War cannot be treated as an open topic for interpretation, as historians with left-wing convictions attempt to present it.

Nela emphasizes that it was a purely civil, fratricidal, and criminal conflict, manipulated by Serbo-Slavic forces that founded and controlled the Albanian communist party, whose successor he considers today’s Socialist Party.

He expresses deep disappointment that even after more than a century of statehood, Albanians continue to be fed the lies of the so-called fossils of communism, instead of learning the true history of events that have left deep scars on the country.

Nela thekson se bëhet fjalë për një konflikt të pastër civil, vëllavrasës dhe kriminal, të manipuluar nga forcat serbo-sllave që themeluan dhe zotëronin partinë komuniste shqiptare, trashëgimtaren e së cilës ai e konsideron sot Partinë Socialiste.

Ai shpreh zhgënjim të thellë që edhe pas më shumë se një shekulli shtet, shqiptarët vazhdojnë të ushqehen me gënjeshtrat e të ashtuquajturve fosile të komunizmit, në vend që të mësojnë historinë e vërtetë të ngjarjeve që kanë lënë gjurmë të thella në vend.
