Commentator Milaim Nela sees the LDK’s extraordinary assembly as a decisive moment for the future of both the party and the state of Kosovo.

According to him, the Democratic League of Kosovo must reassess its political role, distance itself from nostalgia for the era of Ibrahim Rugova, and focus on strengthening institutions and defending national interests.

Nela argues that the LDK has moved away from its original identity as a right-wing, anti-communist force, contributing to the loss of support among its traditional electorate.

WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM THE LDK ASSEMBLY?

Tomorrow, the LDK will hold its extraordinary assembly.

This is an important moment not only for the future of this party, which once played a dominant role on the political scene, but also for the future of Kosovo itself.

The LDK must responsibly assess its position and mission, bearing in mind the role expected of it by the electorate and, above all, the interests of the state of Kosovo.

The party must accept that the era of its founder, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, ended 20 years ago. For this reason, his name cannot be used or misused as a cover for its incompetence and failures.

Dr. Rugova and his associates operated under entirely different circumstances and in a completely different period. The mission they had set themselves was accomplished with complete success, even exceeding objectives that most Kosovo Albanians had never imagined.

Today, however, the LDK faces new political circumstances.

The challenge of our time is no longer Kosovo’s liberation from the occupier, but the strengthening and consolidation of its state.

Kosovo today faces challenges such as ensuring the functioning of its institutions, defending its territory, and preserving its territorial integrity against a highly aggressive and heavily armed Serbia that is particularly active diplomatically, especially in its relations with the United States.

The LDK must remember that it was founded as a right-wing, anti-communist party, even though it included left-wing factions that soon departed.

It must also carefully analyze its current ideological direction, particularly its growing closeness to the Soros factor, which I consider a major threat not only to the LDK, but also to the future of Kosovo and the Albanian nation in general.

From my perspective, the LDK has completely abandoned right-wing positions.

Today, there is effectively no right-wing party in Kosovo.

As a result, a society with a conservative foundation and family and traditional values has been left without political representation.

The LDK’s alarming shift to the left is, in my view, the main reason its traditional voters have abandoned it en masse.

The LDK leadership must understand that moving closer to the party founded by Miladin and Dushan in Tirana will be punished by Kosovo’s voters.

It must also take Sorosism seriously; otherwise, this factor will erode and destroy it, just as it has done to political parties in Albania.

Soros and Sorosism are no laughing matter. They are a genuine cancer and, unless they are fought by every means available, tomorrow may be too late, even if there is an awakening.

We expect seriousness and good news from tomorrow’s LDK assembly.

ÇFARË PRITET NGA KUVENDI I LDK-së?

Ditën e nesërme, LDK-ja mban Kuvendin e saj të jashtëzakonshëm.

Ky është një çast i rëndësishëm jo vetëm për të ardhmen e kësaj partie, e cila dikur kishte rol dominues në skenën politike, por edhe për të ardhmen e vetë Kosovës.

LDK-ja duhet ta shqyrtojë me përgjegjësi pozitën dhe misionin e saj, duke pasur parasysh rolin që pret elektorati dhe mbi të gjitha interesin e shtetit të Kosovës.

Partia duhet ta pranojë se epoka e themeluesit të saj, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, ka përfunduar prej 20 vitesh. Për këtë arsye, emri i tij nuk mund të përdoret apo të keqpërdoret si mbulesë për paaftësinë dhe dështimet e saj.

Dr. Rugova dhe bashkëpunëtorët e tij vepruan në rrethana dhe në një periudhë krejtësisht të ndryshme. Misioni që ata i kishin vendosur vetes u përmbush me sukses të plotë, madje duke tejkaluar edhe objektiva që shumica e shqiptarëve të Kosovës nuk i kishin imagjinuar.

Ndërsa sot LDK-ja përballet me kushte të reja politike.

Sfida e kohës nuk është më çlirimi i Kosovës nga okupatori, por forcimi dhe konsolidimi i shtetit të saj.

Përballë Kosovës qëndrojnë sot sfida të tilla si funksionimi i institucioneve, mbrojtja e territorit dhe ruajtja e integritetit territorial ndaj një Serbie shumë agresive, të armatosur fuqishëm dhe veçanërisht aktive në diplomaci, sidomos në marrëdhëniet me Shtetet e Bashkuara.

LDK-ja duhet të rikujtojë se është krijuar si një parti e djathtë dhe antikomuniste, edhe pse në gjirin e saj kanë ekzistuar fraksione të majta që u larguan shpejt.

Po ashtu, ajo duhet të analizojë me kujdes orientimin e saj të sotëm ideologjik, veçanërisht afrimin me faktorin Soros, të cilin e konsideroj një rrezik të madh jo vetëm për LDK-në, por edhe për të ardhmen e Kosovës dhe të kombit shqiptar në përgjithësi.

Nga këndvështrimi im, LDK-ja është larguar tërësisht nga pozicionet e së djathtës.

Sot, në Kosovë, praktikisht nuk ekziston asnjë parti e djathtë.

Si pasojë, një shoqëri me bazë konservatore dhe me vlera familjare e tradicionale ka mbetur pa përfaqësim politik.

Zhvendosja e frikshme e LDK-së drejt së majtës është, sipas meje, arsyeja kryesore përse zgjedhësi tradicional e ka braktisur në masë.

Udhëheqja e LDK-së duhet ta kuptojë se afrimi me partinë e krijuar nga Miladini e Dushani në Tiranë do të ndëshkohet nga votuesi i Kosovës.

Ajo duhet gjithashtu ta marrë seriozisht sorosizmin, përndryshe ky faktor do ta gërryejë dhe shkatërrojë, ashtu siç ka bërë me partitë politike në Shqipëri.

Soros dhe sorosizmi nuk janë çështje për t’u marrë me shaka. Ata janë një kancer i vërtetë dhe, nëse nuk luftohen me të gjitha mjetet, nesër mund të jetë tepër vonë edhe nëse vjen një kthjellim.

In a message shared on social media, he accused historians who support the communist version of justifying a painful chapter of Albanian history.

Nela expressed disappointment that, according to him, Albanians have still not recognized the truth of these events. He claims that historical discussion continues to be influenced by the legacy of the communist period.

According to him, the so-called National Liberation War is not debatable at all, as pro-communist historians try to present it. It clearly constitutes a genuine civil conflict, fratricidal and criminal, directed by the Serbo-Slavs who founded and actually controlled the Albanian communist party, today’s SP.
