Dejona Mihali, coordinator of the committees in the Vetëvendosje Movement, has reacted after LVV lawmakers refused to vote for the PDK and LDK candidates for the posts of deputy speakers of the Assembly.

According to her, the support of 62 lawmakers cannot be sought for the candidates of these two parties while the PDK and LDK are showing no willingness to help overcome the institutional deadlock and elect the President.

Mihali questioned why the majority should vote for the PDK candidate for deputy speaker of the Assembly when the party has declared that it will not participate in the presidential election process, whether through talks, meetings or even being present in the chamber.

She applied the same approach to the LDK, stressing that its candidate for deputy speaker has openly spoken out against any agreement with the VETËVENDOSJE! Movement to resolve the institutional crisis and elect the President.

Dejona Mihali argued that positions in the Assembly Presidency cannot be treated as privileges obtained with the votes of the majority while responsibility for the functioning of institutions is set aside.

She stressed that it is unacceptable for a political entity to seek votes to secure a position in the Assembly Presidency and then, by staying away from the chamber, obstruct the election of the President and steer the country back toward elections.

The LVV coordinator of committees called for every agreement on the deputy speakers of the Assembly to be accompanied by a broader agreement on the functioning of institutions.

According to Mihali, the PDK and LDK must accept an agreement covering institutions as a whole if they are seeking an agreement and votes for their candidates.

She concluded that there can be no agreement only on the parties’ positions while the institutions of the Republic, including the President, are blocked and citizens face repeated elections.

Koordinatorja e Komiteteve në Lëvizjen Vetëvendosje, Dejona Mihali, ka reaguar pas refuzimit të deputetëve të LVV-së për të votuar kandidatët e PDK-së dhe LDK-së për postet e nënkryetarëve të Kuvendit.

Sipas saj, nuk mund të kërkohet mbështetja e 62 deputetëve për kandidatët e këtyre dy partive, ndërsa PDK-ja dhe LDK-ja nuk po shfaqin vullnet për të ndihmuar në kapërcimin e ngërçit institucional dhe në zgjedhjen e Presidentit.

Mihali ka vënë në pikëpyetje arsyen përse shumica duhet të votojë kandidaten e PDK-së për nënkryetare të Kuvendit, kur kjo parti ka deklaruar se nuk do të marrë pjesë në procesin e zgjedhjes së Presidentit, qoftë përmes bisedimeve, takimeve apo edhe pranisë në sallë.

Të njëjtën qasje ajo e ka aplikuar edhe ndaj LDK-së, duke theksuar se kandidati i saj për nënkryetar është shprehur hapur kundër çdo marrëveshjeje me Lëvizjen VETËVENDOSJE! për zgjidhjen e krizës institucionale dhe zgjedhjen e Presidentit.

Dejona Mihali ka argumentuar se postet në Kryesinë e Kuvendit nuk mund të trajtohen si privilegj që merret me votat e shumicës, ndërsa përgjegjësia për funksionimin e institucioneve lihet mënjanë.

Ajo ka theksuar se nuk është e pranueshme që një subjekt të kërkojë votat për të marrë një post në Kryesinë e Kuvendit dhe më pas, përmes mungesës në sallë, të pengojë zgjedhjen e Presidentit e ta rikthejë vendin drejt zgjedhjeve.

Koordinatorja e Komiteteve në LVV ka kërkuar që çdo marrëveshje për nënkryetarët e Kuvendit të shoqërohet me një dakordim më të gjerë për funksionimin e institucioneve.

Sipas Mihalit, PDK-ja dhe LDK-ja duhet të pranojnë një marrëveshje për institucionet në tërësi nëse kërkojnë marrëveshje dhe vota për kandidatët e tyre.

Ajo ka përfunduar se nuk mund të ketë dakordësi vetëm për postet e partive, ndërsa institucionet e Republikës, përfshirë Presidentin, bllokohen dhe qytetarët përballen me zgjedhje të përsëritura.
