Representatives of the Kosovo Police Guard, the Special Operational Unit, the Intervention Unit, the K9 Special Unit, firefighters, and the Emergency Medicine Center were present at the event.

On the occasion of this jubilee, the Association also brought a special photo exhibition with exclusive photographs placed in frames, accompanied by dedicatory messages. Laminated postcards were also distributed to citizens, prepared especially for this anniversary, featuring the portraits of three former American presidents, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush.

The head of the America Friendship Association, Agim Rexhepi, expressed gratitude to the police, firefighters, and the KSF for their cooperation, while congratulating all American citizens on the anniversary of independence.

“On behalf of millions of Albanian citizens who have respect and love for the United States of America, from this place, we congratulate July 4, at the same time this great jubilee of the United States of America. The America Friendship Association has this activity, we organized it in coordination with these institutions, while at the same time informing very high institutions in the United States of America as well. From here, we will send the photographs to representatives, to very high-ranking American leaders,” he said.

Rexhepi also spoke about the photo exhibition set up in that space, saying that their aim had been to convey the messages through images as well.

“In honor of this jubilee, we created a postcard with three presidents of the United States of America, which are very large, it is classified. We did not make this postcard by chance, because these are the personalities who are Kosovo’s guardian angels, naturally together with senators and congressmen and others. But what is most important? Thanks to President Bush senior, who drew the red line, we were saved from Srebrenica happening in Kosovo. Thanks to President Clinton, NATO forces intervened in Kosovo,” he said, while also praising current American President Trump.

Etem Ferizi, who has lived in Germany for 34 years, said that without Clinton, Blair, Hillary, Albright and others, Albanians would be nowhere.

“Emotions, because this man brought us freedom. They may also say the KLA, glory to the KLA, but he is, to put it another way, though some may misunderstand it, our god. Jennifer Howard, who came from California, found herself at this celebration by chance and said the experience made her feel good.

So when we stopped and saw all of this, I was very excited to celebrate America a little,” she said.

Meanwhile, citizen Ilir Dardania said they had come out to celebrate the date of the declaration of independence of the international state, the friend of the Albanian nation, the United States of America.

“The United States of America is the international state, the friend of the Albanian nation, which, if I am not mistaken, supported us, helped us to win the second Albanian state, the Republic of Kosovo, which has a secular constitution,” he said.
