Mefail Bajqinovci, who recently won a parliamentary seat from the Vetëvendosje Movement, has asked the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Democratic League of Kosovo to clarify their position regarding the return of judges from the Serb community who resigned.

According to him, Kosovo’s citizens have the right to know transparently whether these two political forces support or oppose their return to the country’s judicial system. He stressed that in such cases, silence is not an acceptable stance.

In a full social media post, Bajqinovci emphasized the necessity of a clear response from PDK and LDK on this issue, which he linked to orders from Belgrade for the judges’ resignations.

“Citizens deserve an unequivocal answer: are you in favor of their return to the institutions of our Republic, or are you against?” he wrote, adding that on topics that affect sovereignty and the functioning of state institutions, there is no room for evasiveness.

He closed his message by insisting that the time has come for both parties to clearly articulate their position.

Mefail Bajqinovci, i cili së fundmi fitoi mandatin e deputetit nga radhët e Lëvizjes Vetëvendosje, ka kërkuar nga Partia Demokratike e Kosovës dhe Lidhja Demokratike e Kosovës që të zbardhin pozicionin e tyre lidhur me rikthimin e gjyqtarëve të komunitetit serb që dhanë dorëheqje.

Sipas tij, qytetarët e Kosovës kanë të drejtë të dinë në mënyrë transparente nëse këto dy forca politike e përkrahin apo e kundërshtojnë rifutjen e tyre në sistemin gjyqësor të vendit. Ai nënvizoi se në kësi rastesh, heshtja nuk përbën një qëndrim të pranueshëm.

Në një postim të plotë në rrjetet sociale, Bajqinovci theksoi domosdoshmërinë e një përgjigjeje të prerë nga PDK dhe LDK për këtë çështje, të cilën ai e lidhi me urdhërat e ardhur nga Beogradi për dorëheqjet e gjyqtarëve.

“Qytetarët meritojnë një përgjigje të pakontestueshme: a jeni në favor të rikthimit të tyre në institucionet e Republikës sonë, apo jeni kundër?”, shkroi ai, duke shtuar se për temat që cenojnë sovranitetin dhe funksionimin e institucioneve shtetërore nuk ka vend për evazivitet.

Vetëvendosje Movement MP Mefail Bajqinovci considers the European Union’s reaction regarding the removal of Serbian prosecutors from Kosovo’s justice system to be unfounded.

He stressed that the multiethnic character of the state does not give anyone the right to leave institutions following political calls from Belgrade and then seek to re-enter office. Bajqinovci emphasized that legislation is the same for every citizen, regardless of ethnicity.

According to him, the actions of Kosovo’s institutions are based on the Constitution and the country’s legal framework, and he appealed to the EU to show consideration for decisions that stem from respect for the constitutional and legal order of the Republic of Kosovo.

Bajqinovci wrote that the EU’s stance on this issue makes no sense. He acknowledged that Kosovo is a multiethnic society, something protected by the Constitution and laws applied every day. However, he added that multiethnicity does not justify abandoning duty under political pressure from Belgrade and subsequent claims for return, because norms are clear and the rule of law applies equally to everyone.

He asserted that Kosovo’s institutions are guided exclusively by the Constitution and laws of the Republic, not by political directives coming from outside. If the EU truly supports the rule of law, then it must also accept decisions made in harmony with Kosovo’s constitutional and legal framework, the MP concluded.

Deputeti i Lëvizjes Vetëvendosje, Mefail Bajqinovci, e konsideron të pabazë reagimin e Bashkimit Evropian në lidhje me largimin e prokurorëve serbë nga sistemi i drejtësisë në Kosovë.

Ai theksoi se karakteri shumëetnik i shtetit nuk jep të drejtën që dikush të largohet nga institucionet pas thirrjeve politike nga Beogradi dhe më pas të kërkojë të rifutet në detyrë. Bajqinovci nënvizoi se legjislacioni është i njëjtë për çdo qytetar, pavarësisht përkatësisë etnike.

Sipas tij, veprimet e institucioneve të Kosovës mbështeten në Kushtetutë dhe në kuadrin ligjor të vendit, ndërsa i bëri apel BE-së të tregojë konsideratë për vendimet që dalin nga respektimi i rendit kushtetues dhe ligjor të Republikës së Kosovës.

Bajqinovci shkroi se qëndrimi i BE-së për këtë çështje nuk ka kuptim. Ai pranoi se Kosova është një shoqëri multietnike, diçka e mbrojtur nga Kushtetuta dhe ligjet që zbatohen çdo ditë. Megjithatë, shtoi se multietniciteti nuk përbën justifikim për braktisjen e detyrës nën trysninë politike nga Beogradi dhe pretendimin e mëvonshëm për rikthim, sepse normat janë të qarta dhe sundimi i ligjit vlen njësoj për të gjithë.

Ai pohoi se institucionet e Kosovës udhëhiqen ekskluzivisht nga Kushtetuta dhe ligjet e Republikës, jo nga urdhra politikë që vijnë nga jashtë. The newly elected member on the Vetëvendosje Movement list, Mefail Bajqinovci, has expressed his conviction that any prosecutor, police officer, or civil servant who abandoned their duty following Belgrade’s call must remain outside Kosovo’s state structures.

In a reaction published on social media, he stressed that the state needs citizens who remain committed to the constitutional order and legal norms.

“No prosecutor, police official, or civil servant who left their duty on Serbia’s orders should be readmitted to the institutions of the Republic,” Bajqinovci wrote.

He added that Kosovo needs people loyal to the Constitution and legislation, not individuals who, at key moments, chose to obey Belgrade’s directives.

He stressed that scooters, motorcycles and bicycles should not be allowed to move through the city square among pedestrians, because children, the elderly and all citizens are put at risk every day.

Bajqinovci added that squares are intended for pedestrians, not for races with scooters, motorcycles or bicycles.

He called for stricter checks, for violators to be punished and, when necessary, for the vehicles to be confiscated from those who break the law and endanger the lives of others. According to him, citizens’ safety must remain a priority.

In a Facebook post, he said that the core of Abdixhiku’s problem is not related to a lack of advertising, but to a lack of results on the political front.
