Police officers in Lezhë and Kurbin have arrested two people suspected of committing violence against family members. During searches of their homes, police found firearms, live ammunition and explosives.

Those arrested are Mark Përdoda and Gentjan Koprelli. Five blocks of TNT, two firearms, one of them with a round in the chamber, and live ammunition were seized.

In Lezhë, 33-year-old Mark Përdoda was arrested on suspicion of physically and psychologically abusing his brother’s wife. During a search of his home, five blocks of TNT, a rifle and live ammunition were found.

Meanwhile, 48-year-old Gentjan Koprelli, a resident of Mamurras, was arrested in Kurbin.

According to police, he is suspected of psychologically abusing his father. During a search of his home, officers found a concealed firearm—an automatic weapon—with a round in the chamber, as well as live ammunition.

Police statement:

Two individuals who committed violence against family members in Lezhë and Kurbin and possessed firearms, live ammunition and explosives have been apprehended and arrested.

Five blocks of TNT, two firearms—one with a round in the chamber—and live ammunition were seized.

The two individuals who kept the illegal items in their homes have been arrested.

The person arrested in Lezhë abused his brother’s wife, while the person arrested in Kurbin abused his father.

As a result of swift operational action by the Lezhë and Kurbin police following calls reporting domestic violence, the following individuals were arrested:

In Lezhë, M. P., 33, a resident of Lezhë, was arrested in the act after allegedly physically and psychologically abusing his brother’s wife. During a search of his home, five blocks of TNT, one firearm—a rifle—and live ammunition were found.

In Kurbin, G. K., 48, a resident of Mamurras, was arrested in the act after allegedly psychologically abusing his father. During a search of his home, officers found a concealed firearm—an automatic weapon—with a round in the chamber, as well as live ammunition.

The case materials were referred to the Lezhë Prosecutor’s Office for further action.

Njoftimi:

Ushtruan dhunë ndaj familjarëve të tyre në Lezhë dhe Kurbin, si dhe posedonin armë zjarri, municion luftarak dhe lëndë plasëse, kapen dhe vihen në pranga dy shtetas.

Sekuestrohen 5 kallëpë tritoli, 2 armë zjarri (njëra me fishek në fole) dhe municion luftarak.

Vihen në pranga 2 shtetasit që mbanin në banesa sendet e kundërligjshme.

I arrestuari në Lezhë dhunoi bashkëshorten e vëllait, ndërsa i arrestuari në Kurbin dhunoi babanë.

Si rezultat i veprimeve të shpejta operacionale të kryera nga Policia e Lezhës dhe e Kurbinit, pas telefonatave për dhunë në familje, janë vënë në pranga shtetasit:

-Në Kurbin u arrestua në flagrancë shtetasi G. K., 48 vjeç, banues në Mamurras, pasi dyshohet se ka ushtruar dhunë psikologjike ndaj babait. Gjatë kontrollit në banesën e tij, u gjetën të fshehura 1 armë zjarri (automatik), me fishek në fole, dhe municion luftarak.
