As citizens and activists gathered in the square and expressed their outrage at the government through speeches, the ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Albania was seen walking along the pavement near the government buildings.

Footage obtained shows that the Spanish diplomat passed very close to the area where the citizens’ revolt was taking place.

In the early days of the protest, EU Ambassador Silvio Gonzato had also been seen walking among protesters on the boulevard.
