The Crisis Management Center announced that 25 outdoor fires were recorded across the country over the past 24 hours. Of these, 22 have been completely extinguished, one has been brought under control, while two remain active.

Fires remain active in Gorno Lisice, in the Municipality of Aerodrom, where the flames have engulfed low-lying vegetation, trees and corn, as well as at the exit of Kriva Palanka, where a landfill has been affected.

The fire above the village of Zelenikovo, where forest and low-lying vegetation had previously been burning, has been brought under control.

In several Skopje municipalities, including Gazi Baba, Gjorče Petrov, Sopište, Aračinovo, Studeničani and Karpoš, the fires recorded over the past 24 hours have been extinguished.

Fires were also reported in Novaci, Dolneni, Prilep, Čaška, Veles, Rosoman, Struga, Lipkovo, Vrapčište, Želino, Gostivar and Delčevo.

In most cases, low-lying vegetation was burned, while in some areas the flames also engulfed forests, trees, waste and landfills.
