Acting Minister of Defense Ejup Macedonci announced that he held a meeting today with Blanca Hereza Atienzan, head of the Current Operations Section in NATO’s Operations Division, who was accompanied by her delegation.

According to a post by Macedonci on Facebook, the discussion focused on security developments in the region, the current situation, and the need for uninterrupted coordination between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and NATO.

He said he appreciates the continued cooperation with NATO, as well as the Alliance’s role in ensuring a safe and stable environment in Kosovo and the region.

Macedonci stressed that the Republic of Kosovo will continue its efforts to deepen cooperation with NATO and will contribute, through its capabilities, to regional and international security and stability.
