The Director General of Kosovo Customs, Agron Llugaliu, held an official meeting with the Director General of the Customs Administration of North Macedonia, Boban Nikollovski, and Deputy Director Mustafa Dauti. The discussions focused on cooperation between the two countries and reforms in the customs sector.

Llugaliu said that joint work with North Macedonia Customs had produced good results, particularly regarding the reform of pre-arrival declarations. He also underscored the importance of sharing information and experience between the two administrations.

“During this year, we have also cooperated with North Macedonia Customs on the development of several customs reforms. An important part of these reforms concerns the reform and initiation of pre-arrival declarations. Although this is a very demanding reform and task, the results achieved so far are generally very satisfactory. We see this as recognition of our efforts and aim to build on the progress made so far with the Customs Administration of North Macedonia. For this reason, the exchange of information and experience in this area is of great importance for progress,” he said.

As another successful example of cooperation, Llugaliu mentioned the operation of the joint “One Stop Shop” control point at the border crossings between Kosovo and North Macedonia.

“The joint ‘One Stop Shop’ control point at the Hani i Elezit–Blace and Globocica–Jazhince Blace border crossings also represents a success story. We have received very positive feedback on this process from all stakeholders, while it is particularly important that citizens of both countries have welcomed it positively. I also welcome the Deputy Director General for customs investments and expect that, together with all the teams, we will work on this broad agenda to develop our cooperation in the future. This will be supported by the traditional and highly efficient cooperation we have had with North Macedonia Customs,” Llugaliu said.

Boban Nikollovski, Director General of the Customs Administration of North Macedonia, said he was pleased with the relations and cooperation between the two administrations.

“For me and my entire customs administration team, it is a pleasure to be here, especially following your invitation. I am closely following the way you are working and carrying out your duties, and I believe you are doing a very good job. Our success lies in our joint work and in the results being achieved by both sides. This is very important to us as a customs administration,” Nikollovski said.

Drejtori i Përgjithshëm i Doganës së Kosovës, Agron Llugaliu, zhvilloi një takim zyrtar me drejtorin e përgjithshëm të Administratës Doganore të Maqedonisë së Veriut, Boban Nikollovski, si dhe me zëvendësdrejtorin Mustafa Dauti. Në qendër të bisedimeve ishte bashkëpunimi ndërmjet dy vendeve dhe reformat në fushën doganore.

Llugaliu deklaroi se puna e përbashkët me Doganën e Maqedonisë së Veriut ka prodhuar rezultate të mira, veçanërisht sa i përket reformës për deklarimin para mbërritjes. Ai nënvizoi gjithashtu rëndësinë e ndarjes së informacionit dhe përvojave mes dy administratave.

“Gjatë këtij viti kemi bashkëpunuar edhe me Doganën e Maqedonisë së Veriut për zhvillimin e disa reformave doganore. Një pjesë e rëndësishme e tyre lidhet me reformimin dhe inicimin e deklarimit para mbërritjes. Edhe pse kjo është një reformë dhe detyrë shumë kërkuese, rezultatet e arritura deri tani janë përgjithësisht shumë të kënaqshme. Këtë e shohim si vlerësim për përpjekjet tona dhe synojmë të ndërtojmë me Administratën Doganore të Maqedonisë së Veriut mbi progresin e deritanishëm. Për këtë arsye, shkëmbimi i informacionit dhe i përvojave në këtë fushë është me rëndësi të madhe për përparimin”, tha ai.

Si një tjetër shembull të suksesshëm të bashkëpunimit, Llugaliu përmendi funksionimin e pikës së përbashkët të kontrollit “One Stop Shop” në vendkalimet kufitare mes Kosovës dhe Maqedonisë së Veriut.

“Pika e përbashkët e kontrollit, ‘One Stop Shop’, në vendkalimet kufitare Hani i Elezit-Bllacë dhe Glloboçicë-Jazhincë Bllacë, përbën gjithashtu një histori suksesi. Për këtë proces kemi marrë vlerësime shumë pozitive nga të gjithë aktorët, ndërsa është veçanërisht e rëndësishme që qytetarët e të dyja vendeve e kanë pritur pozitivisht. E mirëpres edhe zëvendësdrejtorin e përgjithshëm për investime doganore dhe pres që, së bashku me të gjitha ekipet, të punojmë në këtë agjendë të gjerë për zhvillimin e bashkëpunimit tonë në të ardhmen. Kjo do të mbështetet në bashkëpunimin tradicional dhe shumë efikas që kemi pasur me Doganën e Maqedonisë së Veriut”, u shpreh Llugaliu.

Boban Nikollovski, drejtori i Përgjithshëm i Administratës Doganore të Maqedonisë së Veriut, tha se ishte i kënaqur me marrëdhëniet dhe bashkëpunimin mes dy administratave.

“Për mua dhe për të gjithë ekipin tim të administratës doganore është kënaqësi të jemi këtu, veçanërisht pas ftesës suaj. Po e ndjek nga afër mënyrën se si po punoni dhe si po e ushtroni detyrën, dhe vlerësoj se po bëni një punë shumë të mirë. Suksesi ynë qëndron te puna e përbashkët dhe te rezultatet që po arrijnë të dyja palët. Kjo është shumë e rëndësishme për ne si administratë doganore”, tha Nikollovski.
