Former head of the State Intelligence Service, Vlora Hyseni, has requested the lifting of the “house arrest” security measure by appealing the case to the GJKKO Appeals Court.

Hyseni has been under house arrest following the GJKKO’s decision of September 21, while she has also been suspended from exercising any public duty or service.

On September 24, GJKKO upheld the security measure after Hyseni appeared in court.

Hyseni is under investigation by SPAK as part of criminal proceeding No. 20/1 of 2025. According to information made public by the authorities, she is suspected of the criminal offenses of “Aiding the perpetrator of a crime” and “Disclosing secret acts or data.”

The case is linked to the investigation into Ergys Agasi. According to materials published during the investigation, SPAK suspects that Hyseni may have made classified state materials available to Agasi.
