This morning, a tragic incident occurred in the village of Lëpushë, Kelmend, in Malësi e Madhe, where a 40-year-old man lost his life after reportedly falling into a ravine.

Police said preliminarily that they were notified of the incident at around 10:52 a.m. According to the information available, a citizen identified by the initials F. S., approximately 40 years old, was suspected of having fallen into a ravine in Lëpushë.

Police services immediately headed to the scene. Upon arrival, they found that the 40-year-old had died from injuries sustained in the fall.

An investigative team also went to the area and is continuing procedural actions to document the case and determine the circumstances of the fatal fall.

Investigations are ongoing to fully clarify the incident.
