Following a meeting with Assembly Speaker Albulena Haxhiu, LDK MP Lehona Lushaku said her party wants the process of constituting the Assembly to be completed on August 6.

Lushaku stressed that holding the constitutive session on that date is necessary to make Kosovo’s institutions and state fully functional. She added that, to avoid any delays, the goal is for the Assembly to be constituted on the day the session has been called.

The LDK MP also said that the party had not received an invitation from LVV to hold further meetings.

According to her, any cooperation between political parties must be based on fundamental principles. Lushaku said the LDK is clearly Western-oriented and that its core values will be part of any potential agreement or partnership.

Pas takimit me kryeparlamentaren Albulena Haxhiu, deputetja e LDK-së, Lehona Lushaku, deklaroi se partia e saj kërkon që procesi i konstituimit të Kuvendit të përfundojë më 6 gusht.

Lushaku theksoi se mbajtja e seancës konstituive në këtë datë është e nevojshme për funksionalizimin e institucioneve dhe të shtetit të Kosovës. Ajo shtoi se, për të shmangur çdo vonesë, synohet që Kuvendi të konstituohet në ditën kur është thirrur seanca.

Deputetja e LDK-së bëri të ditur gjithashtu se partia nuk ka marrë ftesë nga LVV-ja për zhvillimin e takimeve të tjera.

Sipas saj, çdo bashkëpunim ndërmjet partive politike duhet të mbështetet në parime themelore. Lushaku tha se LDK-ja është e orientuar qartë drejt Perëndimit dhe se vlerat e saj bazë do të jenë pjesë e çdo marrëveshjeje apo partneriteti të mundshëm.
