The protest has been scheduled for today, 18 July, at 08:00, near the entrance to the landfill.

According to the announcement, the event is being jointly organised by residents of Lutogllava, Trestenik, Ruhot, Cërfka, Leshan, Ramun, Llabjan and Nabërgjan. They are demanding an immediate solution to the problem, which they say has persisted for a long time.

Residents say the situation poses a major risk to citizens’ health and lives, and are calling on the responsible institutions to respond urgently.

According to them, pollution from the fire is not limited to Lutogllava, but also affects surrounding villages, putting public health and the environment at risk.
