One of the initiators of the civic protest in Tirana against the government, Arben Kola, reacted after the incident involving the Israeli flag, stating that, in his view, there are individuals or groups trying to damage the image of the protest.

In a statement to News24, Kola said the civic movement has no connection to religious or national positions and that its sole aim is to express citizens’ dissatisfaction.

“There are infiltrated groups among us trying to give the protest a different meaning. This will not undo the will of the citizens,” he declared.

Kola said information would be made public about the people who, according to him, are trying to damage the protest, while also calling on security institutions to respond in order to avoid tensions.

Regarding the incident with the Israeli flag, he distanced himself from any action against the national symbols of other countries.

“We are not against any state and we are not here to violate the flags of any country, whether Israel, Serbia, Greece or other states. This protest does not have such a purpose,” Kola said.

Një nga nismëtarët e protestës qytetare në Tiranë kundër qeverisë, Arben Kola, ka reaguar pas incidentit me flamurin izraelit, duke deklaruar se sipas tij ka persona apo grupe që tentojnë të dëmtojnë imazhin e protestës.

Në një prononcim për News24, Kola tha se lëvizja qytetare nuk ka lidhje me qëndrime fetare apo kombëtare dhe se synimi i saj është vetëm shprehja e pakënaqësisë së qytetarëve.

“Mes nesh ka grupe të infiltruara që përpiqen t’i japin një tjetër kuptim protestës. Kjo nuk do ta zhbëjë vullnetin e qytetarëve”, deklaroi ai.

Kola tha se do të bëhen publike të dhëna për personat që, sipas tij, përpiqen të dëmtojnë protestën, ndërsa u bëri thirrje institucioneve të sigurisë të reagojnë për të shmangur tensionet.

Lidhur me incidentin me flamurin e Izraelit, ai u distancua nga çdo veprim ndaj simboleve kombëtare të vendeve të tjera.

“Nuk jemi kundër asnjë shteti dhe nuk jemi për të cenuar flamujt e asnjë vendi, qoftë Izrael, Serbi, Greqi apo shtete të tjera. Kjo protestë nuk ka një qëllim të tillë”, u shpreh Kola.
