Ilir Kërçeli, an MP from the Vetëvendosje Movement, has commented on the political situation and the process of electing the president. He stated that no candidate from LDK or any other party secured more than 120,000 votes.

Kërçeli compared the votes received by Glauk Konjufca, the Vetëvendosje Movement’s presidential nominee, with the combined result of LDK’s six most-voted candidates, PDK’s top three candidates, and AAK’s entire parliamentary group. According to him, the latter collectively received approximately as many votes as Konjufca.

The MP also explained the offer that he claims LVV presented to the other political parties.

In his post, Kërçeli reiterated that none of LDK’s candidates, nor any candidate from the other parties, surpassed the threshold of 120,000 votes.

He said that the votes received collectively by LDK’s top six names, PDK’s three leading candidates, and AAK’s entire parliamentary group were equal to those received by Glauk Konjufca, the Vetëvendosje Movement’s nominee for president.

According to Kërçeli, although Konjufca had been proposed for president and the country subsequently went to elections, the Vetëvendosje Movement made another concession. He said that LVV withdrew the political nominee to pave the way for a consensus candidate.

Explaining the offer to PDK, he said that the president would be elected by consensus, while the position of speaker of the Assembly would be given to PDK, thus securing it one of the three highest state offices. According to him, during the presidential vote, the party’s MPs could vote against the candidate, but they must participate in forming the institutions.

Regarding LDK, Kërçeli recalled that the party had entered government with 30 MPs, giving up both the presidency and the position of speaker of the Assembly in exchange for the deputy prime minister’s post and three ministers, or the position of speaker of the Assembly and three ministries. He stressed that the same offer is being made now, even though LDK has 18 MPs, while its MPs may be present during the vote and vote against the candidate.

Finally, Kërçeli stated that both LDK and PDK are demanding a vote on the speaker and deputy speakers of the Assembly, despite rejecting the proposal to form the institutions.

Ilir Kërçeli, deputet i Lëvizjes Vetëvendosje, ka komentuar situatën politike dhe procesin e zgjedhjes së presidentit. Ai ka deklaruar se asnjë kandidat i LDK-së apo i partive të tjera nuk ka siguruar më shumë se 120 mijë vota.

Kërçeli ka bërë një krahasim mes votave të Glauk Konjufcës, të nominuarit të Lëvizjes Vetëvendosje për president, dhe rezultatit të përbashkët të gjashtë kandidatëve më të votuar të LDK-së, tre të parëve të PDK-së dhe të gjithë grupit parlamentar të AAK-së. Sipas tij, këta të fundit kanë grumbulluar së bashku afërsisht po aq vota sa Konjufca.

Deputeti ka shpjeguar gjithashtu se çfarë oferte pretendon se LVV-ja u ka paraqitur subjekteve të tjera politike.

Në postimin e tij, Kërçeli ritheksoi se asnjë prej kandidatëve të LDK-së dhe as ndonjë kandidat nga partitë e tjera nuk e ka kaluar shifrën prej 120,000 votash.

Ai tha se votat e marra bashkërisht nga gjashtë emrat e parë të LDK-së, tre kandidatët kryesorë të PDK-së dhe krejt grupi parlamentar i AAK-së janë të barabarta me ato që kishte marrë Glauk Konjufca, i nominuari i Lëvizjes Vetëvendosje për postin e presidentit.

Sipas Kërçelit, ndonëse Konjufca ishte propozuar për president dhe vendi më pas shkoi në zgjedhje, Lëvizja Vetëvendosje bëri sërish një koncesion. Ai u shpreh se LVV-ja e tërhoqi emrin politik për t’i hapur rrugë një kandidature konsensuale.

Duke sqaruar ofertën për PDK-në, ai tha se presidenti do të zgjidhej me konsensus, ndërsa posti i kryetarit të Kuvendit do t’i jepej PDK-së, duke i siguruar kështu njërën prej tri pozitave më të larta shtetërore. Sipas tij, gjatë votimit të presidentit, deputetët e kësaj partie mund të votojnë kundër, por duhet të marrin pjesë në krijimin e institucioneve.

Për LDK-në, Kërçeli kujtoi se kjo parti kishte hyrë në qeverisje me 30 deputetë, duke lëshuar si postin e presidentit, ashtu edhe atë të kryeparlamentarit, në këmbim të zëvendëskryeministrit dhe tre ministrave, ose të kryetarit të Kuvendit dhe tri ministrive. Ai theksoi se e njëjta ofertë bëhet edhe tani, megjithëse LDK-ja ka 18 deputetë, ndërsa deputetët e saj mund të jenë të pranishëm në votim dhe të votojnë kundër.

Në fund, Kërçeli deklaroi se si LDK-ja, ashtu edhe PDK-ja, kërkojnë votimin e kryetarit dhe nënkryetarëve të Kuvendit, pavarësisht se po e refuzojnë propozimin për krijimin e institucioneve.
