Ilir Ferati, mayor of Istog, has expressed his condolences to the Qorraj family following the serious accident in Shushicë, Istog, in which two people lost their lives, including a child.

He described the incident as a tragedy that has saddened the entire town. Ferati expressed solidarity with the victims’ relatives and prayed for the recovery of the others involved in the accident.

The mayor of Istog also called for greater caution while driving, especially when weather conditions are difficult.

Ferati wrote that the loss of life reported today has caused profound shock. According to him, following the tragic accident in Shushicë, Istog, it was initially reported that a child had died at the scene, while it was later announced that another member of the same family had also died. He said the tragedy had marked the day and saddened everyone, extending his deepest condolences to the Qorraj family for their losses. Ferati wished the other injured people a speedy recovery and stressed that the call for caution in traffic must always be heeded by everyone, particularly in such weather conditions.

Ilir Ferati, kryetar i Istogut, i ka shprehur ngushëllime familjes Qorraj pas aksidentit të rëndë në Shushicë të Istogut, në të cilin humbën jetën dy persona, mes tyre edhe një fëmijë.

Ai e cilësoi ngjarjen si një fatkeqësi që ka pikëlluar të gjithë qytetin. Ferati shprehu solidaritetin me familjarët e viktimave dhe u lut për shërimin e personave të tjerë të përfshirë në aksident.

Kryetari i Istogut kërkoi gjithashtu më shumë kujdes gjatë drejtimit të automjeteve, sidomos kur kushtet atmosferike janë të vështira.

Ferati shkroi se humbjet e jetëve të shënuara sot kanë shkaktuar tronditje të thellë. Sipas tij, pas aksidentit tragjik në Shushicë të Istogut fillimisht u bë e ditur vdekja e menjëhershme e një fëmije, ndërsa më vonë u njoftua se kishte ndërruar jetë edhe një anëtar tjetër i së njëjtës familje. Ai tha se kjo tragjedi e ka shënjuar ditën e sotme dhe ka trishtuar të gjithë, duke i përcjellë familjes Qorraj ngushëllimet më të sinqerta për humbjet. Ferati uroi shëndet për të lënduarit e tjerë dhe theksoi se thirrja për kujdes në trafik duhet të respektohet gjithmonë nga të gjithë, veçanërisht në rrethana të tilla atmosferike.

According to him, convening the assembly cannot necessarily be described as urgent, although the deadline for forming institutions imposes such a process.

“The LDK is dealing with procedural matters required under the statute of the Democratic League of Kosovo, as well as organisational work aimed at organising the Assembly as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that delegates can express their will following the Assembly’s call by the signatories who submitted their signatures yesterday. Now, I do not want to describe it as an urgent Assembly, but certainly the date for the constitution of the institutions imposes this on us, although it is the responsibility of the leading party to begin work and speed up those procedures. Otherwise, the parliamentary group exists, the deputies have been elected, and I guarantee that it is functional, taking into account the organisation of the LDK Assembly,” he said.

Ferati also dismissed reports published yesterday about an agreement reached between VV and the LDK, under which the LDK would receive three ministries and the post of parliamentary speaker.

He described the reports as propaganda and speculation unsupported by official sources.

“It is entirely propaganda, speculation at a poor level, especially at the time it emerged. Again, I stress: without a source for the information, without citing any representative or any official information from the LDK, it is speculation and it does not stand. Moreover, the chairman declared his positions yesterday through a video message and described the need to suspend negotiations with the Vetëvendosje Movement until our internal issues are resolved,” he said.

Speaking about the extraordinary assembly, Ferati stressed that it would not be competitive, but would serve as a confidence vote for Abdixhiku.

“The Assembly’s conveners have set out the request for which they called the Assembly. It is not a competitive Assembly; in practice, it is an Assembly for a confidence vote. It is not an Assembly where other candidacies can be announced, practically speaking, according to the call by the signatories who convened the Assembly,” he said.

So far, 151 signatures seeking the dismissal of chairman Abdixhiku have been submitted to the LDK secretariat.

Sekretari i përgjithshëm i LDK-së, Ilir Ferati, ka bërë të ditur se partia është duke u angazhuar në procedurat dhe përgatitjet organizative për mbajtjen e kuvendit të jashtëzakonshëm.

Sipas tij, mbledhja e këtij kuvendi nuk mund të cilësohet domosdoshmërisht si urgjente, megjithëse afati për formimin e institucioneve e imponon një proces të tillë.

“LDK po merret me çështje procedurale që na takojnë edhe sipas statutit të Lidhjes Demokratike të Kosovës, edhe me punët organizative në drejtim të organizimit të Kuvendit, në mënyrë sa më të shpejtë edhe sa më efikase, po e quaj kështu, në mënyrë që delegatët me shpreh vullnetin e vet, pas thirrjes së Kuvendit që është bërë prej nënshkruesve që i kanë dorëzuar dje nënshkrimet. Tash, nuk po dua me e cilësuar urgjente si Kuvend, mirëpo sigurisht që na inponon pjesa e datës së konstituimit të institucioneve, edhe pse është përgjegjësi e partisë së parë me filluar punën edhe me i përshpejtuas ato procedura. Por ndryshe, grupi parlamentar është, edhe deputetët janë zgjedhur, dhe po e garantoj që është funksional, po marrë parasysh organizimin e Kuvendit të LDK-së”, tha ai.

Ferati i ka hedhur poshtë edhe raportimet e publikuara dje për një marrëveshje të arritur ndërmjet VV-së dhe LDK-së, sipas së cilës LDK-ja do të merrte tri ministri dhe postin e kryeparlamentarit.

Ai i cilësoi këto raportime si propagandë dhe spekulime pa mbështetje në burime zyrtare.

“Krejtësisht propagandë, spekulim në një nivel jo të mirë, sidomos në kohën kur ndodhi. Pa prapë po e citoj, pa burim të informatës, pa citim të ndonjë eksponenti ose të ndonjë informate zyrtare nga LDK-ja, është spekulim, nuk qëndron. Përndryshe, kryetari i ka deklaruar dje qëndrimet e veta përmes video-mesazhit edhe ka cilësuar nevojën që kemi me pezullu negociatat me Lëvizjen Vetëvendosje, deri sa të zgjidhen çështjet tona të brendshme”, tha ai.

Duke folur për kuvendin e jashtëzakonshëm, Ferati theksoi se ai nuk do të jetë garues, por do të shërbejë si proces votëbesimi për Abdixhikun.

“Thirrësit e Kuvendit e kanë parashtruar kërkesën për çka ata e kanë thirrur Kuvendin. Nuk është Kuvend garues, është Kuvend i votëbesimit, praktikisht. Nuk është Kuvend ku mund të shpallen kandidatura të tjera, praktikisht po flas sipas thirrjes së nënshkruesve që e kanë thirrur Kuvendin”, tha ai.

Në sekretarinë e LDK-së, deri më tani, janë dorëzuar 151 nënshkrime për shkarkimin e kryetarit Abdixhiku.

Menjëherë pas këtij veprimi, sekretari i partisë, Ilir Ferati, dha një deklaratë për mediat duke sqaruar hapat e mëtejshëm institucionalë.

Ferati bëri të ditur se do të ngrihet një trupë verifikuese e cila do të shqyrtojë vlefshmërinë e firmave të mbledhura dhe vetëm pas përfundimit të këtij procesi do të bëhen publike shifrat konkrete dhe veprimet pasuese.

“Kërkesa së bashku me një kopje të nënshkrimeve është pranuar. Në këtë fazë nuk mund të japim një numër, pasi po hyjmë në procedurë verifikimi. Do të formohet një komision për këtë qëllim. Sapo të kryhet kontrolli paraprak, unë ose kryetari do të dalim me një njoftim zyrtar,” theksoi Ferati.

Dy iniciatorët, Zemaj e Dushi, nuk zbuluan numrin total të firmave të siguruara, por pohuan se ai përmbush kriteret e përcaktuara në statut dhe shprehën pritshmërinë që lëvizja e radhës të jetë në përputhje me rregulloren e brendshme të LDK-së.

Prej disa ditësh, në partinë opozitare është përfolur mundësia e mbajtjes së një Kuvendi të Jashtëzakonshëm, ku fati i udhëheqjes së Abdixhikut do të vendosej përmes votës së delegatëve. Kujtojmë se disa muaj më parë, pas zgjedhjeve të 28 dhjetorit, ai i mbijetoi një mocioni të ngjashëm, të iniciuar prej tij.
