Hysen Durmishi, former acting minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, has called on citizens to take part in the “March for Freedom” being held today in Pristina.

In a post published on the occasion, he called for justice and freedom for former members of the Kosovo Liberation Army, who are facing legal proceedings in The Hague.

Durmishi stressed that the KLA’s war was just and aimed at liberating the country. “The KLA is the highest national value since the time of Skanderbeg. Our war was just. It was a war for freedom. Therefore, we expect justice and freedom for the liberators!” he wrote.

He voiced harsh criticism of the Specialist Chambers, which he described as a “legal monstrosity,” and also directed responsibility at the MPs who voted for its creation.

“The damage has already become irreparable, because this court has also handed down convictions. The least that MPs who voted for this court should feel today is shame for the damage they have caused to our glorious history,” Durmishi declared.

He concluded his post by inviting people to attend the rally being held at Skanderbeg Square. “Come everyone to Skanderbeg Square, in support of the liberators! Freedom for the liberators!” Durmishi wrote.

Ish-ushtruesi i detyrës së ministrit të Mjedisit, Planifikimit Hapësinor dhe Infrastrukturës, Hysen Durmishi, u ka bërë thirrje qytetarëve që të marrin pjesë në “Marshin për Liri”, që zhvillohet sot në Prishtinë.

Në një postim të publikuar me këtë rast, ai ka kërkuar drejtësi dhe liri për ish-pjesëtarët e Ushtrisë Çlirimtare të Kosovës, të cilët po përballen me procese gjyqësore në Hagë.

Durmishi ka theksuar se lufta e UÇK-së ishte e drejtë dhe synonte çlirimin e vendit. “UÇK-ja është vlera më e lartë kombëtare që nga koha e Skënderbeut. Lufta jonë ishte e drejtë. Ishte luftë për liri. Prandaj presim drejtësi dhe liri për çlirimtarët!”, ka shkruar ai.

Ai ka shprehur kritika të ashpra ndaj Gjykatës Speciale, të cilën e ka përshkruar si “monstrum juridik”, ndërsa përgjegjësinë e ka drejtuar edhe ndaj deputetëve që votuan për krijimin e saj.

“Dëmi tashmë është bërë i pariparueshëm, sepse nga kjo gjykatë kemi edhe dënime. Më e pakta që duhet të ndiejnë sot deputetët që e votuan këtë gjykatë, është turpi për dëmin që ia kanë shkaktuar historisë sonë të lavdishme”, ka deklaruar Durmishi.

Postimin e tij ai e ka përmbyllur me ftesën për pjesëmarrje në tubimin që mbahet në sheshin “Skënderbeu”. “Ejani të gjithë në Sheshin ‘Skënderbeu’, në mbështetje të çlirimtarëve! Liri për çlirimtarët!”, ka shkruar Durmishi.

The Vetëvendosje Movement has requested that its third representative also be appointed to the Central Election Commission.

Hysen Durmishi, who has just been sworn in as an LVV member of the CEC, said that Acting President Albulena Haxhiu would decide on the matter.

“The Vetëvendosje Movement has also requested its third member; the acting president will decide on this,” Durmishi said after being appointed as a member of the CEC.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo also claims a second seat in the institution. However, Rashit Qalaj, the PDK representative on the CEC, declined to comment to the media on the matter.

Albulena Haxhiu, in her capacity as acting president, appointed the new members of the Central Election Commission on Monday.

Under the decision, only nine members of the body that administers the country’s electoral processes were appointed, while the tenth position remains unfilled. LVV and PDK are both claiming this seat.

LVV will be represented on the CEC by Hysen Durmishi and Violeta Durmishi.

PDK will be represented by Rashit Qalaj, LDK by Ilir Fetahu, and AAK by Muharrem Nitaj. The other four members come from non-majority communities.

During the previous term, Acting President Albulena Haxhiu also did not appoint the tenth member of the CEC. LVV is claiming the post as its third representative, while PDK is seeking it as its second representative.

Lëvizja Vetëvendosje ka paraqitur kërkesë që në Komisionin Qendror Zgjedhor të ketë edhe përfaqësuesin e saj të tretë.

Hysen Durmishi, i cili sapo është betuar si anëtar i LVV-së në KQZ, deklaroi se për këtë çështje do të vendosë ushtruesja e detyrës së presidentes, Albulena Haxhiu.

“Kërkesë e Lëvizjes Vetëvendosje edhe për anëtarin e tretë, për këtë do të vendosë ushtruesja e presidentes”, tha Durmishi pas dekretimit të tij si anëtar i KQZ-së.

Edhe Partia Demokratike e Kosovës pretendon një ulëse të dytë në këtë institucion. Megjithatë, Rashit Qalaj, përfaqësuesi i PDK-së në KQZ, nuk pranoi të deklarohej për media lidhur me këtë çështje.

Albulena Haxhiu, në cilësinë e ushtrueses së detyrës së presidentes, të hënën ka dekretuar anëtarët e rinj të Komisionit Qendror Zgjedhor.

Me këtë vendim janë emëruar vetëm nëntë anëtarë të organit që administron proceset zgjedhore në vend, ndërsa pozita e dhjetë ka mbetur ende e paplotësuar. Për këtë ulëse pretendojnë LVV-ja dhe PDK-ja.

LVV-ja do të përfaqësohet në KQZ nga Hysen Durmishi dhe Violeta Durmishi.

PDK-ja do ta ketë përfaqësues Rashit Qalajn, LDK-ja Ilir Fetahun, ndërsa AAK-ja Muharrem Nitajn. Katër anëtarët e tjerë vijnë nga komunitetet jo shumicë.

Edhe gjatë mandatit të kaluar, ushtruesja e detyrës së presidentes, Albulena Haxhiu, nuk e kishte dekretuar anëtarin e dhjetë të KQZ-së. Për këtë post pretendojnë LVV-ja, si përfaqësuesin e saj të tretë, dhe PDK-ja, si përfaqësuesin e saj të dytë.

Former Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Hysen Durmishi has reacted after the Special Prosecution filed an indictment against four officials from the ministry. They are suspected of abusing their official position or authority in connection with a contract for the maintenance of bridges on Kosovo’s national and regional roads.

According to Durmishi, he referred the matter to the Special Prosecution on July 2, 2021.

Durmishi said the case dates back to the period when the Ministry of Infrastructure was headed by Pal Lekaj, under the government led by Ramush Haradinaj.

In his full post, Durmishi wrote that he had submitted the case to the Special Prosecution on July 2, 2021, and that, after more than five years, an indictment had been filed against several officials.

He urged people not to forget that the incident occurred when Pal Lekaj was a minister in the Haradinaj government.

Ish-zëvendësministri i Infrastrukturës, Hysen Durmishi, ka reaguar pasi Prokuroria Speciale ngriti aktakuzë ndaj katër zyrtarëve të kësaj ministrie. Ata dyshohen për keqpërdorim të pozitës apo autoritetit zyrtar në lidhje me kontratën për mirëmbajtjen e urave në rrugët nacionale dhe rajonale të Kosovës.

Sipas Durmishit, ai e kishte dërguar këtë çështje në Prokurorinë Speciale më 2 korrik 2021.

Durmishi tha se rasti i takon periudhës kur Ministria e Infrastrukturës drejtohej nga Pal Lekaj, në qeverinë e udhëhequr nga Ramush Haradinaj.

Në postimin e tij të plotë, Durmishi shkroi se lëndën e kishte dorëzuar në Prokurorinë Speciale më 2 korrik të vitit 2021 dhe se, pas më shumë se 5 viteve, ishte ngritur aktakuzë ndaj disa zyrtarëve.

Ai kërkoi të mos harrohet se ngjarja kishte ndodhur në kohën kur Pal Lekaj ishte ministër në qeverinë Haradinaj.
