Arben Fetoshi, director of the “Octopus” Institute, has reacted to the honoring of Ratko Mladic in Republika Srpska and the announcement of plans to organize a state funeral in Serbia.

According to him, the glorification of the former Serbian commander represents the continuation of past policies and undermines the stability of the Western Balkans. Fetoshi links this approach to the “Serbian World” narrative and ongoing claims against Kosovo.

A Serbian “general,” sentenced to life imprisonment by the Hague Tribunal for “genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes,” continues to be seen as a threat to the security of the Western Balkans even after his death.

While Ratko Mladic is being honored in Republika Srpska, Bosnia continues to mourn the children, women and men killed in his massacres. At the same time, the announcement of a state funeral ceremony in Serbia is seen as a strategic signal directed at Kosovo and the Euro-Atlantic community.

Fetoshi assesses that, beyond the muted reactions of civil and humanitarian actors, the institutional honoring of Mladic demonstrates that Milosevic’s policies remain present, now disguised behind the concept of the “Serbian World.”

Whether this violates the law, as the Humanitarian Law Fund in Serbia points out, or constitutes a “scandal and disgrace,” according to the Academy for Democratic Development in Novi Sad, as well as the consequences it could have for the country’s path toward the EU, do not appear to matter as long as the honoring is defended through a strategy of denial and used to “legitimize” the ideology of “Greater Serbia.”

President Vucic may try to “soften” the statement by his minister, Nenad Vujiq, but according to Fetoshi, this does not conceal the real danger, which is presented wrapped in a narrative of “victimhood.”

A “dignified” burial for Mladic does not represent a distancing from genocide and ethnic cleansing. On the contrary, it is seen as a play on words that threatens the region through the construction of a narrative portraying Kosovo as “repressive.”

The Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren has released the first details concerning the serious case in which a 14-year-old lost his life after being stabbed last night.

According to the initial investigation, the alleged perpetrator is a 17-year-old, who is suspected of killing the minor by stabbing him.

Police also seized at the scene the knife suspected of having been used in the commission of the criminal offense.

By order of the state prosecutor, the 17-year-old was detained for 24 hours on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offenses of “Aggravated Murder” and “Unauthorized Ownership, Control or Possession of Weapons,” as defined by the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.

The prosecution announced that, within the legal deadline, it will submit a request for the imposition of a measure to ensure the minor’s presence during the proceedings. Meanwhile, the Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren, in cooperation with the Kosovo Police, is continuing its investigation to establish the motives and full circumstances of the incident.

The Government Commission on Missing Persons announced on Monday the results of excavations at three sites in Zubin Potok, specifically in Kalludër and Jabukë, where the remains of at least 23 victims were exhumed.

According to commission chair Agron Limani, 13 bodies were found at the first site in Kalludër, four in Jabukë and another six at the third site in Kalludër.

The fieldwork, which lasted about a month, was carried out by specialists from the Institute of Forensic Medicine together with teams from EULEX, the Kosovo Police and other competent institutions.

Kushtrim Gara, a representative of the Commission, said the investigations have also focused on the case known as the “Intellectuals Group” — 23 Albanians from Mitrovica and Skenderaj who are believed to have been abducted and disappeared on April 19, 1999, in the area between Dren, Kalludër and Jabukë.

He added that the discoveries at the sites may be linked to this event, but the definitive identification of each victim will be confirmed only after DNA analysis.

The examination and identification of the remains are continuing at the Institute of Forensic Medicine.

Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that the remains of at least 23 people had been recovered and exhumed at the three sites. He confirmed the breakdown: 13 at the first site in Kalludër, four in Jabukë and six at the third site, also in Kalludër.

Kurti announced that the identification phase has already begun. Samples from the remains found in Jabukë have been sent for DNA analysis, while the rest are undergoing further examination at the Institute of Forensic Medicine.

The figure of 23 people matches that of the “Intellectuals Group,” who are suspected of having been detained, abducted and executed by Serbian forces on April 19, 1999, he said. However, full identification may take several months, meaning the victims’ identities will be known with certainty only after the analyses have been completed.

Kurti described the families’ years-long wait and anguish over their missing loved ones as “indescribable” and called both for their fate to be clarified and for justice to be served. He accused Serbia of refusing to open state archives that would help clarify the cases and called on the international community to increase pressure on Belgrade to implement the Declaration on Missing Persons, adopted in Brussels on May 2, 2023. The acting prime minister specifically called for the opening of the archives of the Yugoslav Army’s 37th Motorized Brigade, whose file has been classified for 30 years.

Bekim Blakaj, executive director of the Humanitarian Law Center Kosovo, described the discovery as extremely important but stressed that its significance does not end with identification. Mass graves, he said, are also crime scenes.

“The position of the remains, damage to the bones, personal belongings, ammunition and other materials can help determine how the victims were killed, when they were buried and which structures took part in the crime and its concealment. The case is particularly significant because information about the killing and the possible burial site was provided to UNMIK and the Kosovo Police as early as 2003. Therefore, in addition to uncovering the crime, it must also be clarified why it took more than two decades for that information to be verified on the ground,” Blakaj told “Bota Sot.”

He insisted that the investigation should not be limited to the direct perpetrators but should extend across the entire chain of responsibility: who detained the victims, who ordered and carried out the killings, who organized the burial, which police or military structures knew about it and who obstructed the discovery of the site. According to a statement from the Center, Serbian police were informed of the killing as early as April 19, 1999, and, instead of investigating the crime, ordered the victims to be buried, making the concealment of the bodies part of the crime itself rather than merely a subsequent act.

Blakaj warned that, at this stage, it should not be taken as established that the bodies were moved after the war unless this is proven by forensic analysis and the criminal investigation. He noted that the possibility that the remains were dispersed by the terrain and the flow of water should also be examined.

He further emphasized that Kosovo should use this case to increase pressure on Serbia to open its archives, locate other sites and take responsibility for the crimes. According to him, the issue should not remain merely at the level of political statements. He called for the opening of archives and the verification of suspected sites to be established as specific, measurable obligations in the EU-mediated dialogue. Serbia’s responsibility, Blakaj stressed, does not end with handing over documents — its institutions must investigate and prosecute everyone involved in the killings, relocation or concealment of the bodies.

Asked whether Kosovo’s institutions should focus after this discovery on identifying the victims, investigating the perpetrators or seeking international accountability, Blakaj replied that all three processes should proceed in parallel. He said the forensic examination and DNA identification must be completed carefully, with the families notified before the identities are made public; each site must be treated as a crime scene, with evidence and the chain of custody preserved; an independent criminal investigation must be conducted into the perpetrators, those who gave the orders, their superiors and those who helped conceal the bodies; it must be investigated why the information provided in 2003 did not lead to an effective search and whether there was negligence or obstruction; and international legal cooperation and access to Serbia’s archives must be sought. Immediate priority remains identification, but he stressed that identification without justice would be an incomplete process.

Former Kosovo Liberation Army officer Naim Miftari interpreted the discovery as evidence of the Serbian occupier’s brutality and hatred toward Albanians. He recalled that the victims were unarmed civilians attempting to leave Kosovo for Montenegro. Miftari said their relatives will now have an opportunity to bury their loved ones after 27 years, but emphasized that this is a source of immense pain.

According to him, the state of Kosovo should sue the Serbian state for genocide and numerous massacres and relentlessly pursue those responsible, just as Mossad pursued Nazi criminals. He criticized previous governments, claiming they had pardoned Serbian criminals, particularly in the north, and that efforts to pursue them had begun only recently. Miftari said the trial in absentia of Serbian General Goran Radosavljević Guri, who took part in and led Serbian forces in the Prekaz and Reçak massacres, is expected to begin soon.

He stressed that the state and justice institutions must never stop pursuing war crimes, regardless of whether the perpetrators are Serbs or Albanians, and that they must not be granted amnesty. According to Miftari, had Serbian criminals in the north been pursued in time, the heroic police officers Enver Zymberi and Afrim Bunjaku would not have been killed. He said only the most recent government has taken major steps in the north and in strengthening the rule of law.

The Kosovo Judicial Council (KJC) was unable to review the resignations of Serbian judges after the scheduled meeting failed due to a lack of quorum.

Three members boycotted the meeting following disagreements over the agenda, which also included the establishment of the Council’s standing committees.

The issue stems from the collective departure of around 130 Serbian judges, prosecutors and administrative employees from Kosovo’s institutions in November 2022.

Legal experts emphasize that the judges and prosecutors who resigned cannot automatically return to their positions. According to them, resignation carries legal consequences, meaning that any step must be taken in accordance with the procedures established by law.

They believe that a possible return can be considered only through regular procedures, including a recruitment process. According to the experts, every decision must have a legal basis and guarantee legal certainty and the functioning of the rule of law.

Halilaj: Failed meeting points to serious institutional problems

Lawyer Gazmend Halilaj told “Bota sot” that the inability to hold the KJC meeting is a troubling sign of how the justice system is functioning.

According to him, this situation shows that the justice system is facing serious institutional challenges that must be overcome responsibly and in accordance with the law. Halilaj stressed that the KJC is required, under both the Constitution and the law, to function without obstruction and make decisions in a timely manner, particularly when dealing with matters that affect the normal functioning of the judiciary.

Referring to the resignations of judges and staff from the Serb community, he said the prolonged delay in addressing them had raised significant legal and institutional questions.

Halilaj explained that resignation, as an individual act, generally carries legal consequences. However, according to him, the responsible body’s failure to respond for an extended period creates legal uncertainty and undermines the principle of the sound administration of justice.

He added that if it is established that the judges left their positions and did not perform their duties for an extended period, the KJC could consider disciplinary measures or their dismissal, provided that the legal criteria are met. According to him, such action must be taken in accordance with the legislation in force and only after all relevant procedures have been followed.

The lawyer emphasized that decision-making must be based on the law, guarantee the right to due process and respect constitutional standards. Only in this way, he said, can the decision remain sustainable and withstand any potential challenge.

In conclusion, Halilaj told “Bota sot” that the rule of law requires institutions not to allow prolonged institutional vacuums to emerge. He called for issues to be addressed promptly and professionally, as this is the only way to preserve citizens’ trust in the justice system and guarantee the efficient functioning of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.

Burjani: Return cannot take place without a new recruitment process

Legal affairs expert Blerim Burjani told “Bota sot” that judges and prosecutors who resigned cannot return to the justice system without undergoing the procedures prescribed by law.

According to Burjani, there is no legal basis for their return. He explained that resignation is considered a voluntary departure and that a terminated contract cannot be renewed automatically.

He said it would be unlawful for them to return as though the resignations had never occurred. According to him, the issue should not be viewed from a political perspective but should be addressed in legal and contractual terms.

Burjani stressed that their return cannot take place without a new recruitment process. Only after they apply, he said, can it be assessed whether the former judges and prosecutors should be readmitted or whether new Serbian judges and prosecutors should be selected from the Serb community.

He also criticized the European Union’s response to the case, describing it as strange, nonsensical and incompatible with legal principles.

Burjani said that law and order are unrelated to politics. According to him, if individuals resigned from courts in EU countries, they would not be automatically reinstated—or, under any circumstances, even through a recruitment process.

Concluding his comments to “Bota sot,” he emphasized that the voluntary termination of a contract carries very serious legal consequences, regardless of the motives that led to such a decision.

According to Kuçi, Milan Radoičić is not being prosecuted for political reasons, but over serious charges, including war crimes and terrorism. He recalls that Radoičić is under US sanctions, is wanted by Kosovo’s justice system and, through his lawyer, has taken responsibility for the attack in Banjska.

Kuçi assesses that the political and financial support Serbia gives to people linked to this network shows that the issue is not only connected to organized crime, but to its use as an instrument of state policy toward Kosovo.

“The real division is not between Serbs and Albanians, but between justice and crime,” he concludes.

Kuçi titled his reaction with the question: “Protection for Serbs, or protection for Radoičić?”

He says this is where the greatest paradox of Serbian policy toward Kosovo lies: while Vučić asks KFOR and NATO for “protection for Serbs in Kosovo,” according to him Belgrade is at the same time protecting and relativizing individuals linked to organized crime, attacks on KFOR, the terrorist attack in Banjska and the destabilization of northern Kosovo.

According to him, security for a community cannot be sought while political support is being given to structures that produce terrorism for all communities.

Kuçi stresses that the case of Milan Radoičić and Zvonko Veselinović is not simply a criminal story, but rather the way organized crime, state nationalism and Vučić’s politics merge into a single mechanism of pressure against Kosovo.

He then lists the facts one by one.

First, Kuçi says that Radoičić is suspected of the killing of 106 Albanian civilians and the mistreatment of 300 others in Gjakova. He recalls that in April 2025, the Basic Court in Pristina issued an arrest warrant for Radoičić and 19 other people suspected of war crimes in Gjakova.

Second, he underlines that before Vučić and the SNS came to power, Serbian institutions had identified Radoičić and Veselinović as figures linked to criminal networks involving drugs, weapons, oil, usury and money laundering. Later, the US Treasury Department described Veselinović’s network as a criminal organization involved in trafficking goods, money, narcotics and weapons between Kosovo and Serbia.

Third, according to Kuçi, Radoičić and Veselinović are also linked to the murder of Oliver Ivanović in 2018, as the indictment in Kosovo described them as leaders of an organized criminal group which, according to the prosecution, was responsible for that murder.

Fourth, he recalls that in 2021, the United States imposed sanctions on Radoičić and Veselinović, along with individuals and companies linked to them. OFAC emphasized that this network was involved in corruption and in the illegal trafficking of goods, money, narcotics and weapons.

Fifth, Kuçi brings up the events of May 29, 2023, when violent Serbian groups attacked KFOR members in Zvečan, leaving 30 peacekeepers wounded, 11 Italians and 19 Hungarians. KFOR described these attacks as unprovoked. It was later reported that a Hungarian soldier lost his leg as a result of the injuries he suffered.

Sixth, he mentions the September 24, 2023 attack in Banjska, when an armed group attacked the Kosovo Police, in which Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku was killed, while three Serbian attackers were later killed. Kuçi emphasizes that Milan Radoičić admitted responsibility for the events in Banjska through his lawyer, Goran Petronijević. In Serbia he was temporarily arrested, but was later released.

Seventh, Kuçi says that in December 2023, Interpol issued an international arrest warrant for Radoičić in connection with the Banjska attack.

Eighth, he stresses that in September 2024, the Kosovo Special Prosecution filed an indictment against 45 people over the Banjska attack, including Milan Radoičić. According to him, the indictment includes terrorism, undermining the constitutional order, financing terrorism and money laundering.

Ninth, Kuçi says that even after the indictment over the Banjska attack, Serbia’s institutions have continued to finance networks linked to the case. He refers to a revelation by Radio Free Europe, according to which the company “Rad 028,” owned by Radulle Stević, who is under US sanctions and accused in Kosovo of involvement in the Banjska case, has benefited from multimillion-euro contracts from Serbian institutions. Since the beginning of 2026 alone, the company has signed 10 contracts worth more than 1 million euros, while during 2025 it won more than 30 contracts worth over 6.4 million euros. According to Kosovo’s indictment, Stević, through his companies, helped Milan Radoičić launder money. For Kuçi, this proves that Belgrade’s connection to the Banjska network is not only political and propagandistic, but also financial and institutional.

He also recalls that US Ambassador Jeffrey Hovenier described Radoičić as a criminal and demanded that he face justice. Likewise, former US envoy Gabriel Escobar called for accountability for Banjska and stressed that there were financial and organizational ties to the Serbian state.

According to Kuçi, the European Parliament has also condemned the Banjska attack and called for those responsible to be held accountable. He adds that on June 3, 2026, the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, AFET, expressed regret that Serbia had not prosecuted those responsible for the Banjska attack, especially Milan Radoičić, and called for cooperation with Kosovo to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Kuçi also mentions the position of the United Kingdom, which in October 2025 called at the UN Security Council for Serbia to play its role in bringing those responsible for Banjska to justice, including Milan Radoičić. He adds that in April 2026, the United Kingdom repeated this demand and also called for justice over the attacks on KFOR and the Kosovo Police in May 2023.

He also notes that NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has likewise asked Serbia for accountability for the Banjska attack and for the attack on KFOR troops in Zvečan.

Kuçi stresses that the German Embassy and representatives of partner countries have repeatedly called for accountability for the Banjska attack. According to him, the German ambassador to Kosovo underlined that Radoičić and all those involved in Banjska must face justice.

Finally, he turns to Vučić’s latest statement, for which he says the Serbian president once again came to Radoičić’s defense by declaring that he is not being prosecuted “for crime,” but “for Kosovo and Metohija.” For Kuçi, this is not an incidental statement, but political protection for a figure sanctioned by the United States, wanted by Interpol, indicted in Kosovo and who has accepted responsibility for Banjska. At the same time, he says Radio Free Europe’s reporting shows that Serbian institutions continue to award multimillion-euro contracts to companies linked to people accused over Banjska. According to him, this protection is not limited to statements, but is also manifested through public money, tenders and state contracts.

For this reason, Kuçi raises the question that when Vučić asks for “protection for Serbs in Kosovo,” the real dilemma is: protection from whom?

Is it about protection from Kosovo’s institutions that seek order and law?

Or, as he puts it, from the criminal and paramilitary structures that Belgrade itself has nurtured, protected and used for years?

According to Kuçi, Kosovo Serbs are not endangered by justice, but by Belgrade’s political instrumentalization, by criminal structures speaking in their name and by a regime that presents violence as patriotism.

He adds that security is not built by protecting criminals.

Peace, he continues, is not built by amnestying attacks on KFOR, the Kosovo Police and the constitutional order.

According to him, justice cannot be applied selectively: either Radoičić and his network face justice, or Serbia openly admits that organized crime is part of its state policy toward Kosovo.

Kuçi concludes that when a state does not prosecute networks of violence, but continues to feed them through public contracts, then the problem no longer remains only organized crime. According to him, the problem is the state itself using crime as a political instrument.

In the end, he sums up his position with the assessment that the real division is not between Serbs and Albanians, but between justice and crime.

According to security experts, the majority of crimes involving firearms are linked to illegal weapons and to conflicts of various kinds, including personal, family, property-related, or those connected to organized crime.

They are also calling for increased police checks, a stronger fight against unlicensed weapons, and harsher punitive measures for illegal possession, assessing that only prevention and institutional coordination can help reduce violence in the country.

Dashevci: An urgent strategy against illegal weapons is needed

Security expert Arben Dashevci, in a statement to “Bota sot,” said that most crimes are committed with illegal weapons, while also listing some of the main causes.

“In recent years, our country has been shaken by many gun killings, which have caused concern among citizens. According to statistics, the killings were carried out mainly with illegal weapons.

The motives behind this phenomenon are different:

Base motives or interpersonal conflicts, debts, etc.

Domestic violence, alcohol, drugs.

Property disputes.

Conflicts between rival groups, organized crime.

Usury,” he said.

He called for tighter control over illegal weapons through more frequent patrols and checks by the Police.

Dashevci also presented several preventive measures, mentioning as an example the case of London’s amnesty.

“I think control over illegal weapons and their possession should be tightened through frequent and effective patrols and checks.

The concrete measures that the Police, prosecution bodies and the justice system should take to prevent such cases must be coordinated, with the aim of reducing the number of murder cases. In my opinion, a combination of preventive measures is needed:

Combating illegal weapons: even more frequent checks by the Police in every place where there are suspicions, effective investigations into networks trafficking illegal weapons, as well as continuous campaigns for the surrender of illegal weapons, such as the example of the amnesty (the London model).

Enforceable, swift and effective punishments, therefore tougher measures against persons who possess illegal weapons. The tightening of these punitive measures should serve as primary prevention,” he added.

He further underlined that no single measure can fully solve this problem, but it can help reduce the number of cases.

According to Dashevci, around 260,000 illegal weapons are in circulation, which in his view requires an immediate response from the state and society.

“No measure solves the problem in its entirety, but it can reduce the number of cases, which according to statistics stands at around 260,000 illegal weapons, something that is alarming and requires immediate action from all state institutions and civil society.

The Balkan region is known as a place with many illegal weapons as a consequence of wars, but we have consolidated institutions and we must in no way allow insecurity to dominate over security.

Therefore, cooperation, joint action and coordination among law enforcement bodies are needed to draft an urgent strategy to combat this dangerous and troubling phenomenon,” Dashevci told “Bota sot.”

Berisha calls for stricter controls over weapons

Security expert Fidair Berisha also told “Bota sot” that he is deeply concerned by the recent incidents, stressing that the loss of every life remains a deep wound for families and for society as a whole.

“Recently, the tragic gun incidents that have occurred in the country have deeply concerned me. I believe that every loss of life is a deep wound for families, the community and society as a whole. I think violence can never be a solution to conflicts or disagreements. For this reason, I believe control over weapons should be stricter and the law should be enforced meticulously,” he said.

He further stressed that possession of weapons should be limited only to people who strictly meet the legal criteria.

According to Berisha, punishments should also be fair and implemented without delay, so that they have a real effect in preventing such cases.

“It is certainly necessary that weapon possession be monitored carefully and only people who meet all legal criteria should have the right to carry them. Likewise, I believe that periodic inspections and continuous verifications would help prevent the misuse of weapons. I think the Police should intensify checks on the ground, strongly fight unlicensed weapons and respond quickly to any information signaling danger,” the expert stressed.

In the end, Berisha assessed that cooperation between the police, prosecution, courts and citizens is decisive in preventing such incidents.

“On the other hand, the justice system must act efficiently, treating as a priority all cases related to weapons and violence. I believe punishments should be fair and implemented without delays, so that they have a deterrent effect. I also believe that institutions should invest more in educating citizens, especially young people, about the peaceful resolution of conflicts. Cooperation between the police, prosecution, courts and citizens is essential to prevent such incidents. Only through law enforcement, institutional responsibility and joint commitment can we build a safer environment for everyone. This should be a permanent priority for institutions and for society as a whole,” Berisha added for “Bota sot.”

Filmi është xhiruar tërësisht në Kosovë, duke përfshirë lokacione si Trepça, Prishtina dhe Shpella e Gadimes, dhe është pjesë e një serie projektesh të producentëve kosovarë që jetojnë në SHBA, Fitim dhe Fahri Krasniqi, të cilët vazhdojnë të sjellin projekte ndërkombëtare në vendin tonë.

“The Sixth” është një film i zhanrit horror që kombinon elemente dramatike dhe thriller me lokacione natyrore dhe historike të Kosovës, duke ofruar një eksperiencë tërheqëse vizuale dhe emocionale për audiencën ndërkombëtare. Ky projekt tregon edhe mundësitë e jashtëzakonshme që vendi ynë ofron për produksione të mëdha dhe të profilit të lartë.

Producentët kosovarë po bashkëpunojnë ngushtë me ekipin ndërkombëtar për të garantuar një standard të lartë të produksionit dhe për të krijuar një film që të shërbejë si promovim i Kosovës në skenën globale të kinemasë.

Për të ndarë më shumë detaje rreth filmit dhe përvojës së xhirimeve, ekipi i filmit ka planifikuar një konferencë për media, që do të mbahet më 7 nëntor në Shpellën e Gadimes, në Lipjan. Në këtë ngjarje do të prezantohen regjisorët dhe producentët, si dhe do të diskutohen sfidat dhe eksperiencat gjatë xhirimeve në Kosovë.

Filmi “The Sixth” synon të vendosë Kosovën në hartën e kinemasë botërore, duke treguar se vendi jonë mund të jetë një destinacion ideal për produksione ndërkombëtare dhe projekte artistike me profil të lartë.

Një adoleshent 16-vjeçar, i nipi i të dyshuarit, i cili ndodhej në pronë, ka thënë para policisë se dëshiron të tregojë të vërtetën. Ai ka përshkruar me detaje makthet që kanë ndodhur në atë shtëpi, duke thënë se xhaxhai i tij ftonte viktimat, që kryesisht ishin persona të pastrehë dhe të moshuar, për t’i punësuar dhe më pas i vriste me mizori, duke i copëtuar dhe duke i djegur mbetjet.

Prokuroria po vazhdon hetimet, duke analizuar mbetjet e gjetura dhe duke mbledhur mostra ADN nga familjarët e të zhdukurve për të bërë krahasime dhe zbardhur këtë skandal të rëndë.

I dyshuari ndodhet tashmë në paraburgim, ndërsa hetimet janë në vazhdim.

Policia vuri në pranga 30-vjeçarin, i cili kishte vrarë me armë zjarri pistoletë babanë dhe e kishte hedhur në një pus. Policia gjeti dhe sekuestroi armën me të cilën 30-vjeçari kreu vrasjen.

Pas një pune intensive hetimore të bërë nga Sektori për Hetimin e Krimeve të Rënda, Sektori për Hetimin e Krimit Kibernetik në Drejtorinë Vendore të Policisë Durrës, në bashkëpunim me Drejtorinë për Hetimin e Krimit Kibernetik në Departamentin e Policisë Kriminale në Policinë e Shtetit dhe me Prokurorinë pranë Gjykatës së Shkallës së Parë të Juridiksionit të Përgjithshëm Durrës, u bë i mundur identifikimi dhe kapja e autorit të vrasjes së shtetasit E. B., 62 vjeç.

Shtetasi E. B., 30 vjeç, banues në fshatin Shënavlash, Durrës, ka kallëzuar në Komisariatin e Policisë Durrës, se prej mëngjesit të datës 13.08.2024, babai i tij, shtetasi E. B., 62 vjeç, banues në fshatin Shënavlash, ishte larguar nga banesa, me një shtetase të panjohur për të, dhe pas këtij momenti, 30-vjeçari kishte shkëputur kontaktet me babanë dhe nuk kishte mundur të lidhej më me të.

Gjithashtu, ky shtetas ka deklaruar se dyshonte se kjo shtetase mund ta kishte vrarë babanë e tij dhe se 62-vjeçari nuk kishte arsye që të largohej nga banesa.

Djali tjetër i shtetasit E. B., shtetasi A. B., pasi është njoftuar se babai ishte larguar nga banesa, është kthyer nga Italia dhe ka kallëzuar në Polici, se në rrjetin social Instagram, i ka shkuar një mesazh, nga një shtetase e panjohur prej tij. Në mesazh thuhej që familjarët të mos e kërkonin 62-vjeçarin, pasi ai ishte larguar me pushime.

Strukturat hetimore të DVP Durrës, duke qenë para këtyre fakteve, kanë intensifikuar hetimet dhe kërkimet, pasi lindën dyshime se kishim të bënim me një krim brenda familjes.

Si rezultat i veprimeve intensive u bë e mundur zbardhja e ngjarjes, kapja dhe arrestimi i djalit të shtetasit E. B., konkretisht shtetasi E. B., 30 vjeç, i cili ka pranuar autorësinë e këtij krimi, pas një konflikti që kishte me babanë për një shumë lekësh (7 500 000 lekë të rinj, kursime të përbashkëta familjare) që dyshonte se ia kishte vjedhur 62-vjeçari.

30-vjeçari, më datë 13.08.2024, në afërsi të stanit të tyre në arat e fshatit Shënavlash, pasi është kofliktuar fizikisht me babanë e tij, e ka vrarë atë, me armë zjarri tip pistoletë.

Armën e krimit e ka hedhur në një kanal, ndërsa trupin e babait e ka trasportuar dhe hedhur në një pus në një arë të këtij fshati, rreth 1 kilometër larg nga vendi i ngjarjes.

Grupi hetimor ka gjetur trupin e shtetasit E .B., dhe ka sekuestruar armën e zjarrit tip pistoletë, kasafortën e hapur me sende të forta, ku mbante lekët 30-vjeçari dhe prova të tjera që lidhen me ngjarjen.

Trupi i shtetasit E. B. u transportua në Morgun e spitalit të Durrësit, për ekzaminim mjeko-ligjor.

Strukturat Hetimore të Drejtorisë Vendore të Policisë Durrës në bashkëpunim me Prokurorinë vijojnë veprimet hetimore për zbardhjen dhe dokumentimin e plotë të kësaj ngjarjeje.

Materialet procedural i kaluan Prokurorisë, për veprime të mëtejshme për veprat penale “Vrasja për shkak të marëdhënieve familjare”, “Mbajtja pa leje dhe prodhimi i armëve, armëve shpërthyese dhe municionit” dhe “Fshehja dhe asgjësimi i kufomës”.
