Tributes will be held today in Malisheva in memory of police officer Altin Kryeziu, who died from injuries sustained in an accident after being struck by a car while carrying out his duties.

According to reports by local media, the tributes will begin at 19:30 and will be held at the site of the accident.

Altin Kryeziu was on duty when he was hit by the vehicle. After several days of treatment and battling his injuries, he died at QKUK.

Family members, colleagues, friends and citizens have been invited to take part in the tributes, to honor his life and sacrifice and to express their support for the police officer’s family.
