During the hearing to determine the security measure, the panel imposed on them the measure of “reporting obligation,” allowing them to be investigated while free on the charge of “abuse of office.”

Also under investigation are inspectors Dorjan Hasandoçaj, Gentian Xhanari, Dioniz Hotaj, and employee Ridvan Zefi. According to AMP, they are suspected of not properly carrying out their duty to supervise Verracaku, giving him the opportunity to leave the home where he was staying under the security measure.

Meanwhile, criminal proceedings have been registered against Hasan Verracaku for the offense of “Prisoner leaving the place of stay,” as he is suspected of violating the conditions set by the court.

Ndërkohë, për Hasan Verracakun është regjistruar procedim penal për veprën “Largimi i të burgosurit nga vendi i qëndrimit”, pasi dyshohet se ka shkelur kushtet e vendosura nga gjykata.

Verracaku figuron si një nga personat e hetuar për ngjarjen e rëndë të ndodhur në Velipojë në qershor të vitit 2021, ku humbën jetën katër persona dhe dy të tjerë mbetën të plagosur. Pas mbarimit të afateve të paraburgimit, ndaj tij ishte caktuar masa “arrest në shtëpi”, ndërsa ruhej 24 orë nga efektivët e Policisë së Shtetit.
