A fire broke out in a bush-filled ditch near the center of the village of Gramëz, threatening to turn the situation into a crisis for local residents.

Favorable winds helped the flames spread quickly, and they reached the yards of several houses. Firefighters arrived in time and prevented the fire from spreading to a house where the flames had advanced as far as the yard.

Firefighters are continuing their efforts to contain and extinguish the blaze, monitoring its progress to prevent it from reaching other houses.

The fire is suspected to have been deliberately set by local residents, who use burning as a way to clear agricultural land of bushes and thorns.
