According to her, he told her that they are not only neighbors, but that she is his friend, something the president described as inspiring and encouraging.

She said she also had a longer conversation with Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar, who told her that he would stand even more firmly behind the Western Balkans, that he fully supports North Macedonia, and that, in order to have stability and peace in the Balkans, it is unavoidable for the countries of the Western Balkans to become part of the European Union.

The president underlined that for a strong Europe and a strong NATO, there is no better path than peace. According to her, Europe’s strength lies precisely in the ability to advance reforms peacefully and to promote democracy on the basis of fundamental principles and values.

Speaking about the second message from the Summit, she said it concerns NATO and the role of Donald Trump. According to Siljanovska-Davkova, it had to be emphasized that Trump, in a way, made it clear to NATO that defense, for which the alliance was created, is not only about the United States of America, but also about the European countries, which must bear their share of the burden of defense. She added that today it appears that almost all countries, if not all, have already entered that path, namely self-guaranteeing and ensuring the capacity to organize their own defense, which, according to her, is very important.

Siljanovska-Davkova also mentioned Kemal Ataturk’s saying: “If there is peace in the country, there will be peace outside the country,” reiterating that peace is the best solution for a strong Europe and a strong NATO. She said that Europe’s power lies in its ability to carry out reforms or promote democracy through peaceful means, supported by fundamental principles and values.

She added that this makes the situation special, because when the same members sit here and there, or for the most part, then it is logical not to give up on peace. According to her, this is precisely where Mr. Trump’s particular value lies, because in addition to allocating funds, he constantly emphasizes that a peaceful solution must be found for all problems.

Presidentja Gordana Siljanovska Davkova deklaroi sot se është e pakuptueshme që të njëjtët burrështetas, presidentë dhe kryeministra të tregojnë mirëkuptim brenda NATO-s, ndërsa kur bëhet fjalë për Bashkimin Evropian, ta mbajnë vendin në një labirint për 20 vjet. Ajo theksoi se ka ardhur momenti që kjo të tejkalohet. Këto komente i bëri pasi mori pjesë në mbledhjen e Këshillit të Atlantikut të Veriut në nivel të krerëve të shteteve dhe qeverive, në kuadër të Samitit të NATO-s të zhvilluar në kompleksin presidencial “Beshtepe” në Ankara.

Sipas saj, në Samitin e NATO-s u përcoll qartë mesazhi se ne jemi një partner i dëshmuar dhe i besueshëm i NATO-s, se sillemi me përgjegjësi si për sa u përket mjeteve, ashtu edhe në sjellje, dhe se aleanca mund të llogarisë tek ne.

Duke folur për mesazhin e dytë nga Samiti, ajo tha se ai lidhet me NATO-n dhe rolin e Donald Trump. Sipas Siljanovska Davkovës, duhej theksuar se Trump, në një farë mënyre, ia bëri të qartë NATO-s se mbrojtja, për të cilën është krijuar aleanca, nuk ka të bëjë vetëm me Shtetet e Bashkuara të Amerikës, por edhe me vendet evropiane, të cilat duhet të mbajnë pjesën e tyre të barrës së mbrojtjes. Ajo shtoi se sot rezulton se pothuajse të gjitha vendet, në mos të gjitha, tashmë kanë hyrë në atë rrugë, pra në vetë-garantim dhe në sigurimin e aftësisë për të organizuar mbrojtjen e tyre, gjë që, sipas saj, është shumë e rëndësishme.

Siljanovska Davkova përmendi edhe thënien e Kemal Ataturkut: “Nëse ka paqe në vend, do të ketë paqe jashtë vendit”, duke ritheksuar se paqja është zgjidhja më e mirë për një Evropë të fortë dhe një NATO të fortë. Ajo tha se fuqia e Evropës qëndron në aftësinë për të realizuar reforma ose për të nxitur demokracinë përmes mjeteve paqësore, të mbështetura në parime dhe vlera themelore.

“Evropa e bashkuar është Evropë më e fortë, por Evropa më e fortë është Evropa që jeton në paqe dhe demokraci”, u shpreh presidentja Davkova.

Takimi dyditor në Ankara, i organizuar nga Turqia, nisi dje me praninë e udhëheqësve të 32 shteteve anëtare të NATO-s, mes tyre edhe presidentja maqedonase.

Ky samit pritet të përcjellë një sinjal uniteti dhe solidariteti ndërmjet aleatëve, pavarësisht tensioneve të fundit në raportet transatlantike.

Në qendër të diskutimeve është ndërtimi i vizionit “NATO 3.0”, që parashikon një rol udhëheqës të Evropës në mbrojtjen konvencionale, ndërsa SHBA-ja pritet të rishqyrtojë praninë e saj ushtarake në kontinent.

She stressed that everyone in legally valid institutions has the right to this support, because without financial resources neither independence nor efficiency can be guaranteed.

At the 16th Conference of Supreme Court Presidents from Central and Eastern Europe, being held today in Skopje, the president said that the work of the entire judicial system is measured through the work of the Supreme Court.

She warned that any attempt to politicize the Supreme Court poses a risk not only to the independence of the judiciary, but also to the democratic order.

Finally, Siljanovska-Davkova added that citizens have the right to receive justice in independent courts, from independent judges, underscoring that it is precisely the independence of judges that must be protected.

Ajo paralajmëroi se çdo tentativë për ta politizuar Gjykatën e Lartë përbën rrezik jo vetëm për pavarësinë e gjyqësorit, por edhe për rendin demokratik.

Në fund, Siljanovska-Davkova shtoi se qytetarët kanë të drejtë të marrin drejtësi në gjykata të pavarura, nga gjyqtarë të pavarur, duke nënvizuar se pikërisht pavarësia e gjyqtarëve është ajo që duhet mbrojtur.
