According to the announcement, the conference is expected to bring together presidents, vice presidents and judges from 13 supreme courts in Central and Eastern European countries. Also attending will be David Campbell, Senior Circuit Judge, Chair of the Committee on International Judicial Relations in the US and a member of the Advisory Board of the CEELI Institute, Barrington Parker, Senior Circuit Judge from the US, as well as Robert R. Strang, Executive Director of the CEELI Institute.

Speeches at tomorrow’s formal opening ceremony will be delivered by the country’s president, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of North Macedonia, Afrim Fidani, the President of the Judicial Council, Aleksandar Kambovski, as well as David Campbell, Robert Strang and Grzegorz Borkowski from the EU project supporting the rule of law.

Five sessions are scheduled as part of the conference program.

The first session will address public trust in the judiciary. The second will discuss judicial independence, while the third session will be devoted to the application of law by European courts in the domestic legal order, namely the Court of Justice of the European Union and the European Court of Human Rights. The fourth session will focus on the current and future uses of artificial intelligence in judicial proceedings and court administration, while the fifth session will address how courts communicate with the public on matters of public interest.

Sipas njoftimit, në këtë konferencë pritet të marrin pjesë kryetarë, zëvendëskryetarë dhe gjykatës nga 13 gjykata supreme të vendeve të Evropës Qendrore dhe Lindore. Po ashtu, të pranishëm do të jenë edhe Dejvid Kempbell, gjykatës i lartë i Qarkut, kryetar i Komitetit për Marrëdhënie Gjyqësore Ndërkombëtare në ShBA dhe anëtar i Bordit Këshillimor të Institutit CEELI, Barington Parker, gjykatës i lartë i Qarkut nga ShBA, si dhe Robert R. Strang, drejtor ekzekutiv i Institutit CEELI.

Fjalime në ceremoninë solemne të hapjes nesër do të mbajnë presidentja e shtetit, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, kryetari i Gjykatës Supreme të Republikës së Maqedonisë së Veriut, Afrim Fidani, kryetari i Këshillit Gjyqësor, Aleksandar Kambovski, si edhe Dejvid Kempbell, Robert Strang dhe Gzhegozh Borkovski nga Projekti i BE-së për mbështetjen e sundimit të ligjit.

Në programin e konferencës janë paraparë pesë sesione.

Seksioni i parë do të trajtojë besimin e publikut te gjyqësori. Në të dytin do të diskutohet për pavarësinë e gjyqësorit, ndërsa sesioni i tretë do t’i kushtohet zbatimit të ligjit nga gjykatat evropiane në rendin juridik të brendshëm, përkatësisht Gjykata e Drejtësisë e Bashkimit Evropian dhe Gjykata Evropiane e të Drejtave të Njeriut. Në sesionin e katërt fokusi do të jetë te përdorimet aktuale dhe të ardhshme të inteligjencës artificiale në procedurat gjyqësore dhe në administrimin e gjykatave, ndërsa sesioni i pestë do të trajtojë komunikimin e gjykatave me publikun për çështje me interes publik.
