The deadline for submitting applications for the post of Prosecutor General has closed, with five candidates registered in the race.

The final list of applicants seeking to lead the General Prosecutor’s Office includes Adnan Xholi, Arta Marku, Fatjona Memçaj, Rovena Zoto and Ylli Pjeternikaj.

Following the close of applications, each candidate will undergo verification and assessment in accordance with the criteria established for this senior position in the justice system.

The Prosecutor General is appointed for a specified term and is responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of prosecution offices throughout the country. The selection process is expected to proceed with the other prescribed stages.
