Peja Mayor Gazmend Muhaxheri has revealed details about the voting process at the LDK’s Extraordinary Assembly.

According to him, delegates from Pristina and Peja have completed voting, while representatives from Mitrovica are now casting their ballots.

“We were second, after the Pristina branch. We finished second. Mitrovica is voting now. The process appears democratic. It is calm and proceeding smoothly,” Muhaxheri said.

Asked whether delegates were facing pressure, he said this was not happening inside the hall, adding that there had been 14 days in which to exert pressure.

“There were 14 days to exert pressure. The very fact that they called the signatories five or six times speaks for itself,” Muhaxheri added.

Kryetari i Pejës, Gazmend Muhaxheri, ka bërë të ditura hollësi nga procesi i votimit në Kuvendin e jashtëzakonshëm të LDK-së.

Sipas tij, delegatët e Prishtinës dhe të Pejës e kanë mbyllur votimin, ndërsa radha u ka kaluar përfaqësuesve të Mitrovicës.

“Është e dyta pas Degës së Prishtinës. E kemi kry si e dyta. Tash është t’u votu Mitrovica. Procesi po duket demokratik. Qetë, po shkon në rregull”, ka deklaruar Muhaxheri.

Duke iu përgjigjur pyetjes nëse delegatët po përballen me presion, ai tha se një gjë e tillë nuk po ndodh brenda sallës, ndërsa shtoi se për ushtrimin e presionit kanë pasur në dispozicion 14 ditë.

“14 ditë kanë qenë për me bo presion. Vetë fakti që i kanë thirrë ka 5-6 herë nënshkrusit, tregon vetë”, ka shtuar Muhaxheri.

Gazmend Muhaxheri, the mayor of Peja and a member of the Democratic League of Kosovo’s leadership, said he had not opposed Vjosa Osmani’s return to the party.

When asked directly whether he had been against her return, he gave a brief answer: “No.”

Kur u pyet drejtpërdrejt nëse kishte qenë kundër këtij rikthimi, përgjigja e tij ishte e shkurtër: “jo”.

Megjithatë, në vazhdim të bisedës, kur u pyet nëse ky vendim kishte dhënë fryte, Muhaxheri u shpreh se rezultati zgjedhor nuk e dëshmoi një gjë të tillë. Ai shtoi se Vjosa Osmani mbetet një vlerë e madhe, edhe për shkak të qëndrimeve që ka mbajtur gjatë ushtrimit të detyrës së presidente.
