A powerful explosion occurred at a gas station on “Skënderbeu” Street in Sarandë. Two people were injured in the explosion and transported to the Sarandë emergency department for medical assistance.

According to medical sources, the injured individuals are 39-year-old Fatmir Pema, who suffered burns to his body, and 27-year-old Florian Bica, who was taken to hospital after suffering shock as a result of the explosion.

A large number of police officers and firefighting services arrived at the scene and are working to manage the situation.

Meanwhile, work is also underway to establish the circumstances of the incident.
