This Wednesday, the Tirana Court released singer Jozefin Marku and his friend, Kristian Nikolli, from custody following their arrest in connection with the assault on former “Big Brother VIP Kosova” contestant Eduart Kuçi.

The court imposed house arrest on both of them.

The singer was arrested after a video was published showing him assaulting Kuçi.

The conflict is suspected to have started following several statements made by Eduard Kuçi on social media, in which he insulted Marku and threatened revenge if the singer went to Kosovo.

Some time later, the two encountered each other by chance on the street, where the verbal dispute escalated into a physical altercation.

“Get down on your knees and apologize! Don’t drag it out,” Joz Marku is heard telling Eduard Kuçi in the video that went viral.
