Over the past 24 hours, 29 open-space fires have been recorded across the country. According to data from the Crisis Management Center, 22 of these fires have been completely extinguished, six remain active and one has been brought under control.

The fires that have not yet been extinguished are located in several municipalities: in Studeniçan, near the villages of Morane, Vrtekica and Ramni Gaber; in Makedonski Brod, near the Vidush area and the villages of Dragov Dol, Lokvica and Deviç; in Veles and Zelenikovo, around the settlements of Slp, Gorno Selo, Karabunishte, Buzallkovo, Dobrino and Tisovica; in Jegunovce and Saraj, including the villages of Kopance, Tudence and Bojana; as well as in Prilep, at Canishtja, and in Dolnen, near the villages of Vrance and Belo Pole.

Meanwhile, the fire that engulfed the landfill in Delçevo has now been brought under control, the authorities announced.
