In Italy, today four cities are on red alert for high temperatures, while 11 others on orange alert. In Campania, a fire broke out in a scrubland area near the Italian Air Force Academy in Pozzuoli. The flames affected two car dealerships and damaged more than 40 cars. As a precaution, some homes in the surrounding area were also evacuated.
